“So I guess to start off is there anything about your kind that you want me to know, like common misconceptions or the things you feel are the most important to know?”
“We can also shift when there is no full moon.” Mika answered right after Jackson stopped to talk. “And we don’t turn into blood thirsty monsters after being turned or when we’re still ‘out of control’.” He did airquotes while saying out of control.
vampyjackson:
“I write and illustrate comic books, the big bulky ones.” Jackson said while pulling out a notepad and pen. “So if I ask anything you dont want to answer just let me know and I’ll drop it but I think all the questions are pretty basic and general.”
Mika nodded at Jackson’s words. “Okay. I will tell you if I don’t want to answer.” He said and leaned back in his seat.
vampyjackson:
“Sorry they picked the spot I guess that’s what happens when you have vampires setting things up.” The pair walked the short distance to the coffee shop, both ordered drinks and Jackson paid. “Hope it’s okay I paid for your drink as well, I wanted to met up so I figure it’s only right of me to pay.”
Mika looked for a good seat and choose a table where he could clearly see the door and there was no one close enough to hear what they were going to talk about. He looked at Jackson and shrugged. “Thanks for paying. There’s no need to, but thanks anyways.” He walked over to the table and sat down, taking a sip of his latte. “So, what exactly do you do?”

Jackson looked up from his water seeing the man his vamp friends had told him about. “Yeah sure.” He stood placing money on the bar then walked out with Mika. Once outside he held out a hand. “I’m Jackson, thanks for meeting up with me.”
Mika was glad that Jackson didn’t say no to his request and walked out with him. He shook his hand once they were outside, taking deep breaths. “I’m Mika, like I said. And it’s no problem.” He said and shook his head a little. “We could have found a better place to meet though.”

Jackson had been stumped on his vampire comic series for over a year now and because of this his publishers were becoming less and less understanding and more threatening towards his job. He need to get started on something just to satisfie them but he was just so bored with the vampire stuff.
Jackson spent about a week locked in his apartment brain storming away till oneof his vamp friends showed up and had told Jackson to start fresh like he had when he first feel into the dark world of the supernatural. Jackson liked the idea and since it was the only idea he had he went with it.
A fee nights later he was at the BloodLust Bar on the outskirts of town waiting to meet up with some werewolf his friends had convinced to help out.
Jackson wasn’t the only human at the bar that night however the difference was he was there as a normal Customer while theothers were there was food. He sat with a water at one of the small round tables watching his surroundings closely just in case.
Mika didn’t know what to think of his friends. They had asked him nicely if he could meet up with a human who wanted to know more about werewolves - which was fine. But out of all places where they could meet they had asked him to come to the Blood Lust bar. One of the places he hated.
Mika didn’t mind vampires - some of his friends were vampires - but at the Blood Lust bar all he could always smell was the blood of the humans around him and the lust of the vampires, which drove him nuts. He hated the smell of fresh blood a lot.
So when he stepped into the bar he scanned the room quickly and walked over to the guy who looked like his friends had described him. “Hey.” He said, sounding a little aggressive. “I’m Mika. Can we get out here and talk at the cafe next door or something?”

Jackson didn’t think Mika would actually kiss him so at first he had no reaction but once it sunk in what was going on Jacksons eyes rolled closed and he began kissing Mika back. Even though it was just a kiss Jackson felt a bunring need throughout his body that he had never felt from someone before. It wasn’t just a simple need for sex it was the need to be close to feel Mika every way he could. His heart was now Threatening to bust through his chest as they pulled away for air. Jackson could feel that his lips were swollen and just by looking at Mika he could tell the other mans lips were as well. “Well damn…..” He said practically stoned on Mika.
Mika grinned and touched his lips. They were tingling slightly. A weird feeling. “Well, Christmas wish fulfilled. Now you have to think of something else.” He winked at Jackson. “Come on, I need to add your fingerprints to the computer so you can use all the machines and everything.” He said. He felt a little lightheaded, but he knew his job had to go on. As much as he wanted to just kiss Jackson again.
vampyjackson:
“No I’m pissy because you haven’t kissed me yet, see these lips.” He pointed to his mouth. “They want to met your lips.”
Mika rolled his eyes playfully and turned to Jackson. “Do you usually wait for an okay?” He asked and raised his eyebrows before pulling Jackson close and kissing him. It was Mika’s first kiss ever. Not that he would tell that Jackson.
vampyjackson:
Still glaring Jackson crossed his arms and pouted.
“Now you are pissed that you can have a shot with me now? Wow...” He chuckled and turned to the reindeer. “See, that’s why I never tried relationships.” He whispered to the reindeer and bit his lip.
vampyjackson:
Once again Jackson glared and puffed out his cheeks. “So this whole bloody time I could have been kissing and hugging and cuddling on you!” He finally yelled while tossing his arms up in the air.
Mika chuckled at Jackson’s words. He shrugged and turned to one of the reindeers, running a hand over his back and checking if he was alright. “Well, we still got time for all of that.”
vampyjackson:
Jack stoped mid step turning to face Mika once again blinking. “But you like chicks and I am definitely not a chick.”
Mika laughed. “Well, I came out to my dad when I was 13. So no, definitely not into chicks.”
vampyjackson:
“Like I said have you seen yourself plus as a huge bonus you are a great guy, can’t ask for much more then that…..well other then for you to be gay but life is a crule thing and doesnt work that way.”
“I have a crush on you for like forever already.” Mika said and then pressed a hand to his mouth, not sure why that slipped out.
vampyjackson:
“Had/have samething really.” He said with a shrug.
“You have a crush on me?” He felt like his world was stopping for a moment.
vampyjackson:
“Well it would have just been easier on everyone if he had just told you from the getgo that he has a crush on you, I’ve always had a crush on you I mean come on have you seen yourself.” He said as if it was everyday conversation.
“You had a crush on me?” Mika looked at him with wide eyes.
vampyjackson:
Jackson brow went flat and his cheeks puffed up with air in frustration. “What kind of reason is that.” He said keeping his voice long trying his best not to let his temper out and start yelling.
Mika shrugged. “He is stupid. He thought getting you out of the way would make me spend more time with him. I think he really has a big crush on me.” He sighed.
vampyjackson:
“Jealousy over what?” Jack stopped walking turning to look directly at Mika.
“How close we two are.” Mika said and smiled at Jackson.
vampyjackson:
“I really hope this doesn’t end up biting me in the ass.” He said as Cider leeped off into the stables greeting all the other reindeer.
Mika looked at him. “I am sure you will be fine, Jack. You never made any mistake.” He smiled softly. “And Jip isn’t here anymore to try and make you pay for his jealousy.”

“Okay sounds awesome lets do that.”
Mika walked out of the coffee shop followed by Jackson and Cider. The reindeer jumped around in the snow, never running too far from the two men though. When they arrived at the reindeer stables Mika typed something into the computer screen and then took Jackson’s hand and pressed his thumb on the screen. “Now you can open the doors.” He just told him.
