the inherent shame of beginning… dont look at me while i learn
“the inherent shame of beginning”
i admit, “don’t look at me while i learn” hits hard… but why is that so? when i was 7 years old i sang along to songs i had yet to fully learn by bumbling through sounds that half-resembled what i thought i heard, at full volume.
at 6, i would practice ballet moves–in which i had no instruction–outside the theater after a professional performance, in full view of the public.
at 5, i asked my teacher so many questions that she affectionately called me Bug–because i was always bugging her with my endless inquiry. i loved the nickname.
at 14, i was afraid to practice a song in my own room with no one home because, “what if my voice cracks? what if i can’t hit that note?”
at 15 i was afraid to dance in the garage with no one around because–i mean how embarrassing would it be to get the move wrong?
at 16, i forgo asking questions in class because god forbid i not understand.
what is this? “the shame of beginning”, we say. but not inherent, never was it inherent. the child loves to begin! they love making the silly mistake. the world tells us the mistake is fatal, or worse, shameful. what a tragedy. the world strangles our joy of beginning and when we’re old enough we add our own hands to the neck.
but the truth is we begin everyday and we are wrong and we’re dumb and we make silly mistakes and at the end of it all we are still the brilliant learners we’ve always been. there is no shame. it’s alright. i don’t know how to properly express that i wish upon everyone who’s reblogged this post to realize the shame is in our hands wrapped around the neck. we can let go. allow the self-kindess of your heart to soothe the bruises.
learning is no secret burden. we do it together :)
This is about DEPRESSION! You know what I'm talking about, don't you?
YOUTH SICKNESS
Must not speak, dangerous beast,
It moves silent, unseen, like mist.
Bites and tastes, it knows us all;
You must be bold or it'll make you fall
Shut tight your eyes, you grown lad,
It likes you with sorrow fed.
Dry your tears, it's thirsty draws,
Nothing to fight but broken swords.
Yet no one sees, no one hears,
Like a fever, it comes and leaves;
But sadly it happens sometimes,
It bites too hard and with you dies.

“B..Billy…”
“Shh…keep it down, Harrington.”
OMG! Billy looks so calm and easy while Steve is like.. freaking out like... To points of view, dunno, I'm just laughing so bad, love this!!!
OMG NICK MILLER!!! pt 2
OMG NICK MILLER!!!
He really is my type <3
Guys! What happened in Cali?! Why is Billy suspicious!
Also with Steve. I may be wrong but he kinda assumed he was a pedophile, i think every human being would've punched the shit out of a pedophile... after being sure the guy actually IS one.
Ok, i'm totally pro lgbt.
Just, I'm in love with every way people love so... I'm here to celebrate hets because they might be as dickheads or love with the same amount of much as lgbt.
I am in love with a guy and I'll never love anybody as much. Ever. And this stuff also celebrate him. But it doesn't matter if he's a boy or a girl or whatever i am too stupid to remember all kind of flags and stuff, nothing can tell me who i am and who i love cause i don't know either
I love in the same way i hate: unconditionally
(I'm also talking about racism, i mean... i'm sorry but my guy-i-am-in-love-with is kinda Mexican and god save my virginity i bet you all would fall for that sexy-cutie pie
What the fuck is wrong with me
"And the flames of the tripods expired. And darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all." - The masque of the Red Death, Edgar Allan Poe
I've always liked old movies and romance... Sabrina, Gone with the Wind, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, 1950's Princess Sissi ecc.. Everything that every healthy human wouldn't watch twice (actually I've watched them at least 4 times each)
But I came out to be most likely a non-relationships person, unable to "love" and pretty much a bad girlfriend. So I'm into weird things with guys that I don't know what they think of me 'cause I've got my head up my ass when it comes to lovers and people in general.
So yeah It's easier all teeth and tongue, rough and sweet.
Something you don't have to deal after... much. And even if you'll feel all weird you can drawn that feeling in more rough kisses and shared booze, as long as the other dude/tte wants that too.
Then you're fucked.
Also go check my instagram 4 more drawings if u wanna, please don't post it... luv u - wolvesfeared
I was wondering...
Are humans like teeth? White and bright on the outside but rotting in the inside?
Today I was having my ordinary Wednesday with my classmates. We were waiting for the brake to end and we were chatting.
There's that girl in my class and, well... the first time i saw her i thought: 'she's everything i've always wanted to be' and I really admire her (even if now i realise I just love being me). She was talking and - forgot to say I'm pretty small - from a weird angolation I saw something that hit me.
Her beautiful white teeth were in a deep shade of gray. She has caries. I grinned at that.
Don't get me wrong, I've got caries too - damn sugar. Probably you have them as well. I just felt closer to her, both humans. I could've just squeezed her hand to show affection because I've glimpsed something hidden. But I did not. It's not my concern anyway.
So here's my question...
Are humans like teeth?
Are we bright and shining on the outside but rottening in the inside?
That's why I hate dentists - and most of us does as well. We don't like people getting too close to our deep secrets, scratching our facade with loud and intrusive tools. Those caries, these prints of sweet sin, will only get larger and achey everytime you do all those sugary things we can't help doing. I, myself, am addicted to sugar. And even if we find the courage of clenching our fingers onto the dentists' chair and let them work us clean, we'll always know what was there and that it's going star rottening again someday.
That's the point in dentists! They KNOW what you've done! They can see each sinfull candy, each tempting slice of cake, every damn grain of sugar in your coffee. It's frightening.
That's not only a question, it's kind of a fact to me. Just wanted to have your opinion
(Guys, plz, that's ma drawing...)
All right, another artist inspired me that and I just can't find her... gonna find her someday
So err... how r u doin'?
