hi, tumblr and @taylorswift! i’m mykenzie. i’m a 17 year old gal who just finished up her junior year and is looking forward to seeing taylor in like 11 days!!
so, i’ve been a swiftie for about eight years now. my first taylor concert was the speak now word tour in dc, where my parents surprised me with tickets after religiously listening to speak now for the whole year. that was easily one of the best nights of my life.
red tour came around, and my family couldn’t afford the tickets. but thanks to swiftcast, my dreams came true and my mom and i travelled to pittsburgh to see taylor with free tickets from swiftcast and keds! i couldn’t believe it, and i of course had the time of my life.
then 1989. i was able to get tickets on the second release, and saw taylor at nat’s park on july 13! i was so close to getting loft ‘89, but so far away.
2017-18 was a rough year for me. this year, i was diagnosed with depression. i had really low days, where all i would do is sit in my room and cry. a lot of the times, my mom would come in and play reputation for me. i wouldn’t go to school, because i couldn’t get out of bed. this happened for pretty much all of my junior year. i’m starting to get better, and i’m now on the right mix of meds and my family has seen a complete 180 for me. we’re all so happy!
when the rep tour was announced, i couldn’t get tickets. i remember trying to win them for about two months. then on christmas day, my grandmother and step-dad surprised me with TWO TICKETS TO THE REPUTATION TOUR! i cried, and honestly i am so excited. this album is my whole religion.
@taylorswift, i can NOT wait to see you on july 10 in washington, dc! I AM IN SECTION 134, ROW 17, SEAT 19! i’m bringing along my mom, who loves you just as much as i do! we’re taylor tour buddies. 💕 it would be our dream to meet you this tour, and to bring an amazing start to my summer/senior year after ending my junior year on such a bad foot.
i love you forever, and can’t wait to see you again in eleven days! 🌟
