It's taken me essentially my whole life to realize that it's OK to pace myself and it doesn't mean I'm a failure if I can't do something on this day, right now. I do still struggle with this concept, but I'm getting much better with it. • I wanted to change my bad habits so badly that I wound up pushing myself entirely too hard the first day, and continued to exercise the following two days despite the pain and the exhaustion. All that did was make me feel physically sick and drained, which also made my mental health suffer. • I've taken a few days off of everything so I can rest up and feel better physically and mentally, and I'm gonna start again within the next couple of days. This time, though, I'm gonna pace myself. • Be kind to everyone. Including yourself 💖
