Does it really annoys you when people are mistaken you as Zoella? Or when they see a resemblance of her towards you? ☺️ { sorry i'm just really curious lol }
Nah, people thinking i look like her is just funny, i don’t see it and they definitely mean it as a compliment which is sweet. But it does get to me when people say things like, quote:
‘she’s just a pastel zoella’
or ‘is this girl trying to be zoella?’
it’s just very rude and completely devalues everything i’ve ever made or done. It’s such a small flippant comment but I don’t think people realise how disparaging it is.
Whilst i’m at it i also want to point out that people commenting on my videos comparing me to Zoe can breed some really unpleasant cases of people trying to defend me by being rude about Zoe which is simply unacceptable. You should never try and bring someone up by tearing another person down. I support Zoe 100% and she has never been anything but kind to me.
In general (particularly with artists, actors, creators, etc) i think it’s best not to compare people to each other unless that person explicitly states that they’ve drawn inspiration from that person. Everyone is unique and special in their own way and we should value them for who they are and what they make, not who they remind us of.
