I want to knit a sock (for not a sock. Only one😂)

I tried crochet it, but it’s too complicated, and I couldn’t make the right size. Also, the texture of crochet is not okay for my socks-feeling.

My mom gave me stockinette needles that left after my grandmother, and I have a ball of Drops Fiesta and Drops Fabel…

but I have no idea how to knit on 5 needles. My colleague said it’s really easy.

I need to find some tutorials about it…

I was with my fiance giving invittions to my cousins and i heard twice comment „well now i wouldn’t get married”.

Like. Ok.

what exactly am I supposed to do with that information? It’s not my business that you married wrong person.

Looking back, I honestly think it was jealousy. Which is kind of funny, considering she was in the exact same position maybe 15 years ago. Now she’s jealous that I’m there too.

My first handspun sweater

I'm still in the beginning of my spinning journey so I wanted to try a bunch of different fibers. I didn't want to buy a large quantity of one fiber I haven't tried and I already have a bunch of mittens and beanies etc so I didn't want to do a bunch of one skein projects. So I planned to use all of the different fibers I bought for a sweater.

I already had some solid coloured blue Corriedale and the other fibers I bought were merino, merino-silk, merino-bamboo, merino-sparkly, merino-bamboo-viscose. The tweed and the black fibre from the picture I left out of this project.

I wanted to get a striped effect where the colours would fade nicely to the next colour but that didn't happen especially on the sleeves. I divided the fibres into smaller sections and spun two identical bobbins where the colours appear in the same order.

Then I plyed those two strands of merino blend with the corriedale

The fit isn't perfect because I was very lazy when I casted on and didn't do any shoulder shaping. But still MY FIRST HANDSPUN SWEATER!!!

I feel not okay with how my company is pushing AI into literally everything, and they’re like, “You have to use it” for everything: for research, for assessments, even for making presentations (? I mean seriously) literally for everything.

It bothers me a bit because how about using your brains…
