Things that can make life a little bit less exhausting:
- Lay out or hang up outfits for your week or day. Hang the shirt, pants, underwear, and socks together so in the morning you can get ready quickly.
- Keep easy snacks in your different bags, protein bars and shakes, crackers or chips, dried fruit, etc.
- Likewise, keep some of everything in multiple places. Lip balm, medications, lotion, tissues, masks, etc. Let yourself have a few safety nets.
- Make a main bag your storage area for the items you take with you every day. Keep your wallet, keys, books, etc. in the bag instead of trying to collect them all daily.
- Trust your brain and body to know their limits. If you find yourself unable to do the productive thing you have been trying to, release the pressure of doing it right now. It may come to you after there isn’t so much pressure, or after you’ve taken a rest.
- Remember that you are doing your best. Life can get tiring, and for many of us finding time to catch up on rest isn't an option. When this is the case, we must allow ourselves even the smallest moments of rest, and remember that we are deserving of love and kindness no matter what.
