"Silence has so many voices" - Siv Cedering Fox Today marks what would have been the 77th birthday of poet, author, and artist Siv Cedering, mother of WordTheatres's founder and artistic director Cedering Fox. Siv Cedering was born and raised in Sweden. She came to this country with our Cedering in her belly. Winner of the National Book Award in Sweden for her novel ”Playing in the Pig House”, which was made into an Oscar nominated film starring Stellan Skarsgard, Siv wrote all her poetry in English. She published 18 books of poetry, and her poems have appeared in over 200 anthologies, textbooks, and magazines. To this day, her work continues to inspire and bring joy to future generations of writers and poets. Featured is original artwork by Siv Cedering Fox
