My name is Toby Cavanaugh I'm nineteen and I live in pretty crappy town called Rosewood. I have a step sister that I can't stand and to much bad stuff to name in my back yard. I'm a carpenter and I can do pretty good design layouts for buildings. I'm also dating the love of my life Spencer Hastings and as soon as I make sure she graduates we're leaving Rosewood. "I know, I think I’m just afraid I’ll be dumping more on their plate." But then again they really wouldn’t have to worry about it, since it was going to be her’s and Toby’s child after all. "You have a point there, I much rather avoid all that and get all her questions answered so we can proceed with our night and I can be away from them." As much as she loved them, the two of them could really drive her up a wall. It was only worse when Melissa was there. Spencer’s eyes instantly closed as she felt Toby’s lips against her own, she pressed hers back in return as her hand rested on his cheek. When the kiss ended she smiled. "I love you more.."  Leaning in she pressed her lips against his again to capture them in another tender kiss. She allowed her lips to linger there for a moment before she pulled away completely. “I could do this all day but I think we should have our lunch before you baby decides it wants to make me sick instead.”

Toby knew that this was big news but he knew they would find out one way or another he'd rather it be from them and not 'A'. "Since when have any of you guys worried about the load you have to carry? Just remember better from you than them." After returning the gentle kiss he pulled back and nodded, "I'm in for a fun time aren't I?" He joked when she mentioned getting sick, he squeezed her hand before he got out and moved to her side once more taking her hand once she was out and on her feet. "Tonight after we talk to your mom we'll both turn off our phones okay?"  He smiled as they walked, "Maybe we can finally feel normal that way."

She nodded her head at his words, she wondered what sorta rumors were gonna go around and what everyone would be saying about her when they thought she wasn’t listening. Something ridiculous probably. "That sounds like a plan, I don’t think it’d get too crazy.." For the most part the others supported her, but then again there were sometimes they didn’t. A baby was big news but it wasn’t as big as some of the things that had happened to any of them. Or maybe it was. She closed her eyes for a moment and just got rid of all those negative thoughts. After a moment she opened them and her eyes went back to where Toby was, she placed her hand on his leg and smiled. "Okay I will, I guess it’s the least I can do."

Toby's hand moved to cover her's on his leg and gave it squeeze before he pulled onto the road that would take them to the brew and where he lived thankfully he still had that place. "I don't either the girls love you and they'll under stand and if they don't right away then you know they will come around." He gave her a smile before pulling into the parking lot. "I'm mainly saying it cause if you don't she'll start calling and wont stop til we answer her." He laughed before parking putting the e-brake on then shutting off the truck looking over at her before he leaned over and kissed her again. "I love you."

"You know there may be some truth to that." She teased with a satisfied grin. She didn’t mean it though, she’d never purposely be upset or angry at Toby. When she got in her moods it was just game over for a lot of people, and they were only going to get worse once her hormones developed. "Yes but my drop out boyfriend happens to be the love of my life. So even if I wasn’t used to the stares and the people whispering behind my back. I wouldn’t care anyways." Spencer said, with a now soft smile on her face. She slid into the passengers side and buckled herself in. "I’m not sure actually. Though there is a high chance that I will want you there." She pulled the phone of of her pocket to check the time, then looked over at him. "I’ll probably just text them, besides I have clothes and other things at your place so I don’t really need to come back here to get anything."

Toby laughed as he started to pull out the drive then looked over at her once more before stopping at the gate and pressing the button that he had on the visor. "Just don't let anything they say get to you cause nothing they say is going to be true." The pair of them having a baby and having both been arrested for a murder they didn't commit was bound to have stories. He nodded when she said it. "Well I can always wait outside while you tell them and I can come in if it seems to be going down hill. Maybe start out with just one?" He stated before he pulled out onto the road and headed towards The Brew. "Alright but you'll have to call your mom after the appointment."

"That’s what you say now, before long you’re going to think they’re out to get you." She laughed softly. Spencer enjoyed teasing her boyfriend, and she was sure he enjoyed it as well. Even if his teasing sometimes wasn’t fair. "I’m used to the stares by now, at least with this it won’t be because of Alison or A." She responded before shaking her head. "Nope, the only ones who know are you and my parents. I should probably tell them soon though, maybe in a few days." As much as she loved her friends she could go without telling them this news for a little while longer. Besides she kinda just liked them knowing for now. A soft quick chuckle left her lips as she heard his comment. Her eyes moved over to her mom who seemed like she had something to say but refrained from it. Instead she just nodded. "We’ll see you later." She added, then walked over to the counter to grab her keys. She moved over to the door and opened it, slipping out quickly before her mother did say the thing she was keeping in.

Toby laughed looking at Spencer before looking at her mom seeing the look on her face he was more then happy to follow Spencer out the door. "I already think your moods are out to get me sometimes, Spence." He grinned over at her before taking her keys from her, "No it's going to be because your drop out boyfriend got you pregnant." He stated as he opened her door for her to get into the passenger side. "So do you want to tell them together or is that something you want to tell them alone?" He asked before shutting the door and going to get into the drivers side putting on the seat belt then starting it up, "So are you just going to be texting them later saying you are staying the night with me?"  He teased as they pulled out of the drive.

"Are you sure? I find them just delightful." She laughed softly at her own sarcastic comment. "That’s a good idea, it’ll probably save us the trouble from asking later on." Though there were questions that were probably going to come up later on anyways. A night away from the house seemed wonderful she loved her parents but they could be smothering. "I’ll try to avoid the fighting but it shouldn’t be a problem. Besides the biggest issue that could happen by staying with you tonight already has happened." she grinned.

Laughing Toby shook his head thumb rubbing against her palm, "Of course you do, your moods aren't out against you." He grinned over at her, he was glad they were able to tease each other it's how it all started with them anyways. "We're going to get through all this and the stares together. Have you told your friends yet?" He was really hoping that one was going to be a no cause he wasn't sure how he would feel if he found out that far down the line of people. "Oh yeah that makes me feel so much better." He muttered as they stepped off the last step he looked over at her parents, "I'm going to take her to the Brew for some food then take her to her appointment." He stated with a smile as much as he put on a front about her parents neither of them scared him, well her mom did some.

"And despite my moods you love me anyways…" she responded teasingly. Following behind him she thought for a second about the coffee thing. “I’m not sure, on the safe side I’ll just get some tea. We can ask the doctor about it later.” It was better to be safe then sorry later on, even if it did no harm to their unborn baby. “I don’t think they’ll mind and if they did they technically couldn’t do anything about it anyways.” Spencer was eighteen after all and that meant she could make her own choices, she normally did anyways but that’s besides the point. “What are your plans for tonight?”

Toby looked at Spencer with a arched brow, "It's not your moods that I love though especially your crazy low blood sugar moods." He laughed then nodded, "We should make a list while we eat so we know what to ask about when we go in to see the doctor." He stated before he walked down the hall towards the stairs with her, "No real plans for tonight but I want to be with you and not have your parents hovering our every movements." Toby looked at her again before they went down the stairs. "I know they can't but with everything going on it might be best for you to not get into fights with them."

"That sounds perfect actually. I may have an idea of what we can do afterwards."  The brunette grinned back, playfully gasping as she heard his words. “I’m sure you’re mistaking me with someone else.” Spencer tried to press her lips back to his but before she could he had already pulled away. “That’s because no one knows me more then you do. Especially not him.” She reassured him. The little thing her and Wren had, if you could call it a thing was nothing compared to what Spencer and Toby shared and it never would be. Spencer quickly slipped on her shoes before taking his hand and standing up. “The Brew sounds good and so does a cup of coffee.”

Toby arched his brow before laughing shaking his head, "Oh yeah totally confusing you someone else." He rolled his eyes giving her a smile when she said that no one knew he like he did, "Because I actually pay attention to you and your moods." He stated with a smile fingers wrapping around hers, "Are you supposed to have coffee?" He asked curiously before he walked to the door, "Would your parents be okay with you staying with me tonight?"

Spencer shrugged, she hadn’t really thought much about it. “I’m not sure. How about you surprise me? It doesn’t have to be big, we can just go out to eat or something.” Just spending that time with him would make her happy before she would have to attend some big party her mother was going to throw for her graduation with all her relatives and by that time everyone would probably know she was expecting. Which wasn’t going to be pleasant but she still had a few months to worry about that. “Good because I’m going to hold you to that promise.” she playfully nudged him. She then rolled her eyes and laughed softly at his comment. “Na, they’d still choose you.” Feeling his nose rub against hers, the brunette smiled. “Good.”Her eyes moved from him over to her clock they still had a few hours before her appointment. “In the mean time, do you wanna go out and grab some lunch? I was gonna make something here but there’s really nothing.” With everyone busy no one took the time to go shopping, but that’s how it normally was. The only time they had anything in the house was when Melissa was around.

Toby grinned at her, "How about I make something for you again and then we can do something quiet just you and me." He jokenly groaned when she mentioned holding him to "Why you gotta be so mean." Teasing her as he leaned forward and kissed her quickly once before he moved back from her. "I'm glad cause Wren is a wimp who couldn't take care of you with a opened detailed book about you." Toby really did try to keep the annoyance out of his voice he really didn't like the guy and thought he was nothing but a hindrance. "Yeah lets go grab something to eat before your appointment." He flashed her a smile before he rolled off the bed and held out his hand for her to take, "What are you in the mood for? The Brew or something else?"

Spencer found comfort in his arms, which wasn’t a new concept for her when it came to Toby. However she needed this, distancing herself from him for a week took it’s toll on the young brunette. He was her safe haven, and that was something she never wanted to change. "I will be in a few months." she said referring to graduation. It wasn’t that long off. And by the time she did she’d be showing but at least she wouldn’t have her baby while she was attending. Between taking care of a baby a school work would be difficult for her. So that was a plus. "As long as you always come back to me…to us. The traveling isn’t so bad." When he shifted so did she, turning over slightly her eyes moved to his face. She laughed softly at what he said and shrugged. "In a way I’m surprised too, but he knows what kind of person you are Toby. I think if my parents could have choose who was going to be the father I know without a doubt they’d choose you." Spencer, leaned in and placed a soft tender kiss on Toby’s lips for a few moments before disconnecting them. "Do you want to go with me to the doctors? My mom made me an appointment early this morning for around three. She was going to go but I much rather you go with me."

Toby gave a small smile when she said she would be in a few months and he knew it was true she would be but they still had others things to deal with. "What do you want to do for your graduation by the way?" He knew they probably wouldn't be leaving Rosewood and that was crap since they both needed to get as far away as possible but he knew if A was still around then they wouldn't be going anywhere. "I am always going to come back to you two. Always." He promised then arched a brow at her comment then laughed, "I don't know I think they would have been okay with Wren." He teased he still hated the guy and would be more than happy to deck him into the next state but knew no good could come from that. Kissing her back he smiled before rubbing his nose against her's "I'd love to come with you besides I should be there it's my baby."

Spencer looked down, she watched as Toby’s hand moved to her flat stomach. Her smile widened a bit, she was still trying to get used to this idea even though she knew she was pregnant for about a week now. The brunette gently placed her hand on top of his, her eyes then moved up to meet his. "Yes. This is life changing news." Spencer wrapped one of her arms around him and scooted closer to fill the gap between them before she rested her head on his shoulder. “I love you too… So uh, how do you feel about this?” She knew he wasn’t upset and was understanding but she wanted to hear his thoughts on the pregnancy itself.

Toby moved his free arm around her as she came closer to him, his fingers on his other hand hooked around hers. "Yeah it is life changing, very life changing." He stated as he turned his head and kissed the top of her hair before he rested his head on hers, "I don't know I'm still processing it but I mean I'm nervous about it. We're still teenagers and you haven't graduated yet. I'm traveling all the time for work but." He stopped and shifted some so he could look at her, "I'm okay with this. I'm kind of surprised your dad didn't kill me."  He laughed nervously as he squeezed her hand.

Listening to his words the brunette nodded he did have a point. It really should have been her he heard news like this from not her mother. For that she felt terrible about. "I know, I don’t know why I did it. I think it could have been just fear getting the better of me." Spencer shrugged at her own words. A huge wave of relief washed over her, her fears about this didn’t even make sense now. She smiled softly back at him, "Yeah of course you can…" She put her book on the end table closest to her and scooted over to be closer to her boyfriend.

Toby settled more onto the bed as she moved closer to him he gave her a gentle smile. His hand moving to rest against her stomach fingers playing against it, "Spencer what were you scared of about this? Were you scared of how I'd react?" He questioned he hoped that she didn't think he was giving her the third degree about this he was just trying to understand. "I love you, Spence and we'll figure everything out together." He commented before he leaned forwards and kissed her forehead.

Keeping something like this from Toby was difficult, she hated lying to him she always had. Spencer just..she was a afraid. Why did this have to happen now? Things were just too crazy right now with Ali being back and the girls now convinced that she was A. Mona was gone, just all these things and a baby on top of it was just too much. She just didn’t know how to tell Toby about it. Last night she broke down and finally told her parents, she just needed to tell someone. The brunette looked up from the book she was reading, it was one of those ‘What to expect when you’re expecting books.’ Melissa had left it behind when she was pregnant she thought she at least should read it and actually get ready for the things that were coming. She only had morning sickness a few times but apparently that number was going to increase. Taking a deep breath Spencer spoke; "I-I didn’t know how. I’m sorry Toby, I wasn’t prepared for something like this to happen."

Toby nodded when she talked about not knowing how but he still didn't get why. He was the father of the baby that was going to be growing side of her he deserved to know and from her not her mother. He reached over and took a hold of her hand and rubbed his thumb against it softly. "Neither of us are. You're still in high school we have all this crap going on." He paused for a moment before he continued, "We do this stuff together though. We don't hide things from each other and this was something pretty big to be hiding from me." He gave her a soft smile letting her know that he wasn't angry just confused he paused for a moment, "I know it's early but can I." He gestured with his hand towards her stomach.

Toby had finally got the call from Spencer's dad saying it was okay for him to come back over that they were doing talking to her. He parked the truck in the drive way and sighed before he got out of the truck and inside. Veronica telling him he could go up to her room so he made his way up the stairs and towards, Spencer's room. He stopped when he saw Melissa before he turned right opening Spencer's door. He closed the door behind him and sat on the edge of her bed, "Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have been angry at you."
