I’ve subscribed to it for a few years now, but the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc for overseas delivery (among other things). My issues have been appearing in my mailbox in seemingly random order.

Seven Wasted Years

A couple weeks ago, Tumblr emailed to acknowledge and celebrate that I have been on Tumblr for 7 years! Well, I thought that was cool, but I had to rack my brain to think about what I’d posted -- and when.

So of course, I clicked the link to my page -- and it was empty! When you click on my face (yes, that’s my real face), it reports: Posts? Nah.

So I’m changing that. I’m no longer the silent Tumblr! I might even start doing what my tagline says: writing about writing and software.

Seven summers ago, I was researching a book that was eventually called Build Your Author Platform: The New Rules. I must have created this account around then. I’m sad that I left it sit here all this time. Let’s see how it goes now...
