Am I the bad guy for trying to avenge my friends?

I (doesn't matter, anon) was planning to upgrade my six friends, D (2, robot), P (IDK some time in the 70s, robot ghost), C (70s, robot), T (same as C), S (70s, robot/ghoul? IDK, system), and M (same as C and T). But D's inventor, H (70s probably, toon, M) decided to attack us with murder robots when we went to get parts. C, T, S and M were all trashed. I couldn't handle it, so I ran away. Then I got mad, so I kidnapped H's husband F (IDK 20? Ghost, M), turned him into a cyborg, and then tried to use F to kill H. I thought I was justified, but D and P are both telling me I'm in the wrong. Maybe I lost my mind a little bit there, but I was in emotional distress! So am I the bad guy?
