Pasta requires boiling water to be cooked.

Microwave can potentially boil water if left on long enough.

Hypothesis: If we can boil water in a Microwave, we can make an entire box's worth of pasta via Microwaving it.

First Step: find a large enough, microwave safe container, then put pasta in it. (If needed to break said pasta.)

Second Step: fill container with water, ensure it doesn't overflow or fill up too much.

Third Step: put container in microwave, put it on high for however long I want, supervise progress to ensure it doesn't burn or overflow.

Results will be shared later, so far so good...

Results: Pasta was successfully made, however; the only issue was I used macaroni instead of the traditional type, which screwed it over.

The next time I get Angel Hair Pasta or anything of that sort, I shall try this again.

Summary: YES, it is possible to Microwave normal box pasta, however.. It is advised to not use Macaroni, unless you want a mess to clean up and a stomach-ache

Returning to this to add one extra thing; I had recently used this method to make angel hair pasta, it was a success through and through :)
