So why don’t you play us in the background? Clean up, draw or work as we entertain in you for hours!
So come on in, and have a listen! We’ll be pleased to have you!
(ooc undercut)
oh oh oh what’s that? ANOTHER redacted oc by LANCER? who would’ve known!
introduce broadcaster! loud and erratic, this playful little magical cyborg will play their opinions, their broadcast, and their stories, out loud for all to hear!
no matter where you are, you’ll hear it.
more information is yet to come, a host never reveals too much about themselves this early, right? HAHA!
ravonna saw an advertisement for the broadcast and was curious enough to investigate a little bit
"so...is this like I'm being interviewed or am I supposed to listen to you talk?" she's open to doing either
@ravonna-lexus-renslayer
Dowwh, those adverts are still out there then, are they? Drats.. Thought I would’ve gotten rid of those by now!
Soo, you’re the curious type then, ain’t cha? I’m flattered! I don’t take myself as the .. interviewee type guy, I won’t lie..
I—! have completely~ forgotten what my adverts were like! I’m pretty sure it was more of a “Listen to my show!” But.. I don’t know now-a-days, eheh.. I’m.. not too talkative now. So.. I wouldn’t mind an interview, if I were honest. Just a little cautious about the information I provide!
"right, okay" von looks around for somewhere to sit "I don't have anything to hide and I think you'll find I've had an.. interesting life so far, so you can ask me anything you like" she sits across from them at a table, fixing her suit pants
My main question is how you got here! And how you found those adverts! I’m pretty sure this place was meant to be inaccessible to those who.. aren’t in our little group, ha.

“ great to see you’re back. “ ████ laughed, the doors to the broadcaster’s room gently being pushed open.
the eyes across their room idly look away as they walked inside, the carpet softening the sounds of their walking.
the broadcaster looked up from their broadcasting station, rubbing their eye with their left hand. they were hunched over their station but straightened up and glanced over their shoulder at the familiar voice.
“ what? “
the broadcaster asked bluntly, holding the shakiness of their voice back.
████ smiled, “ am i not allowed to say hello to an old friend? “
the broadcaster scoffed and looked away again, looking at their hands. ████ stepped closer, tilting their head at broadcasters avoidance.
“ i’m aware you don’t like the situation you’re in.. and who you had to leave behind . “ they said, looking at their hand idly.
“ i’m sorry for you, i truely am. “
“ .. no, you aren’t. if you were, you wouldn’t have done this. “
the broadcaster mumbled, static softly coating their voice as it left their speaker. ████ hummed softly in response.
“ i got you off scott free and managed to divert the negative force away from your little situation. i’ve done more than enough for you. “
████ got closer to the broadcaster, resting their head on their shoulder. the broadcaster flinched.
“ just because you had to leave your ‘beloved’ listener, doesn’t mean i ruined this for you. trust me, i could have been much worse. “
the broadcaster scoffed.
████’s eyes wandered down to the broadcasters shirt collar, eyeing the missing clip pendant.
“ .. it’s gone.”
“ .. yes. it is. “
the broadcaster said rather bluntly. ████’s head tilted ever so slightly in what one can only assume is confusion.
“ i gave that to you for a reason. “
“ i know. “
“ people, and him especially, can interrupt your feeds now. “
“ i know. “
it clicked.
“ ah, you shouldn’t have given that to them.. “
“ you can just make me another one. “
████ scowled slightly.
“ that isn’t the point. “
“ then what’s the point? that i gave something important somebody gave me away? that how you felt when he—“
████ growled and grabbed the broadcaster by the collar.
“ do not. “
the broadcaster paused. they looked startled; bit off more than they could chew.
“ .. you don’t know the extent of what happened between me and him, and you never will know or understand it. he .. “
████’s eyes softened for a split second before they dropped the broadcaster back in their seat.
they hated how the broadcaster looked a little bit like him when he was younger, when they were afraid.
████ cleared their throat.
“ i’ll make you another one. “
“ i don’t want it to be purple. “
they paused, raising a brow.
“ what colour? “
the broadcaster looked away, and so did ████.
“ red. “
“ .. their favourite colour.. how poetic. “
they step back from the broadcaster, starting to walk away. the eyes above the door started to return back to their normal position of looking at the door when they did. the soft pats of their walking got quieter as they got to the door.
“ i’ll get it done for you then. say hi to poet for me. “
they shut the door.
the broadcaster exhales a breath they didn’t know they were holding.
[The Listener sits in silence for a second, before they collect themselves - smoke that was beginning to billow becoming calm as they take a look over at The Broadcaster.]
[ The Broadcaster hesitates, moving to lean against the plush. They sigh as they do, leaning into the soft fabric. They don’t let go of The Listeners hand, instead gently guiding them to sit down as well. ]
.. Mm.. It’s.. nice.
.. I forgot how .. nice to was to actually lay in something comfortable, ha..
[There’s a look - almost indecipherable without features - that flashes through their eyes.]
“You… Mean so much to me.”
[The Listener turns to them.]
“I know how complicated things are. And I know how dangerous it is… But you did the right thing, coming here. And I don’t want you to feel guilty about anything.”
[ The Broadcaster looks a little surprised by Listener’s words, but smiles, and for a second they looked like they were about to cry. ]
.. You.. mean a lot to me too.
I.. I haven’t.. been outside of there for so long. And I just.. being.. here. With you.. Is just..
It’s so.. familiar. And it’s ..
[ Their body language is soft, vulnerable. Their thumb idly moves against The Listener’s hand. The metal is cold. ]
.. I’d give up my broadcast if it meant staying here longer.
.. And I.. appreciate you.. being here for me as well. You didn’t have to.. put yourself in the crossfire for me, but you did and I can’t.. thank you enough.
.. If.. you ever needed help.. I’m here. Even if i get in trouble, ha..
