My problem with Nexe rn is not even the use of AI itself but it’s the hypocrisy 🙄 he’s already so untrustworthy in my eyes and since I started watching him he’s been saying and doing almost opposite stuff in many cases. He seems like a guy with a very flimsy backbone who’s convinced he’s absolved of any criticism.

I also feel like last time his ass got saved from real drama because he likes Haiper. It seems to me that he really didn’t gaf that fariis was racist and homophobic and only truly started caring when it turned out fariis was basically threatening Haiper.

What he needs to do right now is take the criticism and think about what his viewers are telling him without treating it like some funny drama

Nexe put up an AI generated post on his IG when he criticised it when fariis got shit for it and I think it’s soooo beautiful how much the polish viewers are now making fun of Nexe for using AI too. He always says that making jokes is fair game and that if others get offended then it’s their problem. Well, I hope he’ll get ragebaited with AI jokes until he’s sick of them and longer

I think the situation with Ash calling Poland a “German ass country” and people’s reaction to it show how on edge people online are, especially in left leaning spaces. Many polish people said that the comment stung a little but at the same time nobody was attacking Ash for it because most viewers don’t expect a guy from India to be knowledgable about the politics of all European countries especially when he didn’t realise he was talking about Poland.

The thing that stood out to me was the way some people immediately got defensive and made it a bigger issue than it is. I’m polish and the comments he made didn’t feel great but at the same time I don’t have any hard feelings towards him, just like many other Poles. I mostly saw people turning it into a joke and saying that he’ll have to work harder for that bed in polish cave. The people who made it a big deal were the one’s who insisted we are overreacting because they portrayed the situation as an attack on Ash when that wasn’t the case. I think some people are on edge constantly because they’re afraid their favs will get hated on or cancelled.

Now if somebody sees the posts defending Ash without seeing the original responses they’ll think polish people made it a big deal. The truth is we can be hurt while acknowledging that he wasn’t trying to be malicious and just unknowingly said the wrong thing
