-is startled by the sudden nudge, and slowly turns around to the massive shadow overlooking him-“O..oh wow..you are..r-really big..”

The worm would begin to crawl it’s way toward his…their mom’s weapon wasteland. Upon arrival he would crawl up to a hand plate stick up seemingly our of nowhere, and placed the end of his tail on it.

“WELCOME PINK DIAMOND” Came a muffled voice from under the sea of sand as a massive platform began to lower the pair into the ground. The worm wondered…would his less corrupted version now believe who he was?

Although the view and overall feeling of riding atop some giant humble beast did feel a bit..’exhilarating’ he couldn’t help but feel a bit of a stone in the pit of his stomach.

‘Why of all places are we going here?? This is practically the last place anyone would want to be..’ 

 Watching the big guy come to a stop he paused and squinted down at the small hand plate below. “Huh?..” It was only when the creature unlocked the hidden section in the ground did he begin to realize. And held on tighter to the spine he’d latched a ride onto as they descended, his eyes unable to not cast a wary glance at this newfound...acquaintance. @mxsecastle​

Headcanon: Hugs are...complicated. You sort of have to ‘push’ for them but in a very careful manner. It’s basically like trying to hug a very nervous cat if anything. You gotta lull him into a particular sense of security. Connie can usually get away with it if she approaches him slowly with the offer. Strangers on the other hand are more than likely to get a decline.Steven’s Thoughts: He LOVES hugs, in theory. Considering he used to go about giving and getting them back then. He’s just terrified of the concept of accidentally hurting the other during the exchange. He tends to overthink a lot in the aspect of him having an episode.Signs: If he really wants one, the signs that’ll show are more or less a bit obvious. Him holding his arms open a little towards the person are pretty obvious. Asking him for one and him folding his arms are a smaller sign that he wants to but he just settles for the self comfort.

(Дﾟ≡ﾟДﾟ): When they are surprised by somebody do they physically jump? Scream? 

Headcanon: Steven as he is now is definitely much more sensitive and prone to screaming and jumping. The worst way to surprise him by touching him without acknowledgement of the approach. Even the tap on the shoulder can cause him to have a mini heart attack. He just doesn’t really like physical contact anymore.Steven’s Thoughts: He’s afraid he’ll hurt someone accidentally out of reflex. Or worse, corrupt them. Signs: Usually what happens when he’s startled, his eyes will glow pink, showing signs of stress. He will scream, pulling his hands up to his chest or holding them away towards the person to keep them from further approaching. Either two emotions will be displayed, fear or anger. Usually a mix of both with him exclaiming why they did that and it taking a minute for him to calm down again.
