Jax is Seth from the Bible (TADC Theory)
I went into the biggest deep dive ive ever done for TADC at like 3am, and it is now 5am, but I need to share this theory
l've seen this bible story of "Cain and Abel" come up a lot lately, especially around the last episode that dropped, and I saw someone show and mentioned that when Caine was pulling cards of the characters, Kinger and Jax matched to the two big doors in the office, and it seemed to be hinting that Jax might be an admin of the circus.
But that didn't make sense to me. Jax didn't necessarily show up in the flashback Kinger had that showed everyone's first appearance, and I'm 95% sure I heard somewhere that Jax came after Ragatha or something.
But linking Jax to the door is pretty interesting, so I did some digging into the bible story of Cain and Abel, and tried to link it to Jax.
Cain and Abel aren't the only sons of Eve, and she actually had a third son named "Seth" to directly replace Abel and restore the holy lineage. (Very often Seth is mentioned to have either replaced Abel or been appointed to the position)
Seth is also considered the "true link to promise redemption", which redemption is a big part of Jax's character—redeeming himself and becoming nicer to those around him.
To further link Jax to the story, Jax's name can mean either "supplanter" or "God's is gracious" depending on whether you choose to associate the name with Jack or John. A "supplanter" is a replacer. Jax is a replacer.
Therefore, Jax could possibly have been appointed by the circus itself to replace, at the very least, Caine's position. Even if the story mentioned that Seth replaces Abel, in this context, it makes more sense for Jax to supplant Caine.
And I say that the circus appointed him because in the bible story, God appointed Seth, like he was chosen. It could also be Kinger, perhaps, who picked Jax to replace if we're linking Kinger to God, but somebody or something put Jax in the high seat to take the position of ringmaster.
Some further details I'd like to mention is Jax standing at what is probably the screen Caine had shown in the whole "Escape the Circus" adventure. This means he had to have gone up to Caine's office, which gives ample opportunity for the circus to make him the replacement.
Also, while I don't doubt that there are going to be Jax flashbacks, I doubt he'd be staring like he does in the pictures like he's some sort of horror entity.
