sainte chapelle, paris

one of the coolest chapels in the world, with over 1000 stained glass windows. everyone should see it at least once in their life. if you can't get in (it's gotten super popular recently), the cluny has some vitraux that i think they got during the reservation. you can see them up close that way and really appreciate the artistry.

went through my old pinterest boards from 2020 and found one just called “dreams.” i went through it and it was just pictures of paris. there’s even a picture of the metro station right by my apartment. honestly it makes me so grateful for my current situation because five years ago when i was miserable during lockdown, it was the only thing that kept me going. i’m literally living out my past self’s dream which is such a privilege.

the 5 year survival rate for people with malignant brain tumors is only 35.7%. an estimated 1 million americans are living with a brain tumor. nearly 20,000 americans are expected to die from malignant brain tumors this year. for those with a gliomastoma the average life expectancy after diagnosis is only 8 months. although glioblastomas have been known about since the 1920s, there is still no cure. this may, spread awareness and consider donating in the hope of finding a cure.
