Note: This is pretty angsty, there's blood, and Techno says a mean thing. Please don't read if you are affected by any of that!

Prompt~

“I never wanted to hurt you, you know that, but there are just some lessons we can only learn through pain and failure.”

You screamed as swung your sword. All you had to do was disarm him. That was all. You swung your sword at Techno, tears swelling up in your eyes. "Cmon, Y/N, you can do better than that!" he yelled, dodging. The sound of yelling and swords clashing disrupting the once quiet land.

"At this point, you could barely beat Tommy." he scoffed. Techno pushed you to the ground, sword pressed against your throat. "You know, I'm close to giving up. You are helpless." You squirmed under him, desperately trying to grab your sword. His eyes widened as you swung at him, barely missing. "Somewhere in that weak body of yours, there's a fighter." You swiftly get up and Techno smirks. "Let's see what you've got."

After a few minutes, you both fell into a repetitive dance. Only switching your movements occasionally.

He swings, you block.

Your hands are starting to slip, your body is growing weaker. You can't do this for much longer.

He picked you up and rushed you inside. "Shit, I got carried away didn't I?" He sat you down on his couch and tended to your wounds.

"I'm sorry," he muttered. "I never wanted to hurt you, you know that, but there are just some lessons we can only learn through pain and failure." you sigh. "I know, it's okay," you responded, tears daring to spill from your eyes. You had never seen him like this, honest and down to earth. Phil had told you he was like this, but you had never expected to see it for yourself. "The wound should heal in a few days, compared to what I've been through before, it's not that bad. ." he nods and pulls you into a hug. "In the future, could we train with fake swords instead?" you ask, half-jokingly. "Of course," Techno responds with a smile.
