random facts about myself because this is my blog anyways: ♡ when i was 8 my pinky finger was unfortunately cut a third, like the tip of it yk, by a door that slammed really fast because of a storm at that time, and my cut off finger was joined by inserting a rod in it. the rod is taken out but now i have a funny pinky finger that does not bend. ♡ i am multilingual, aka i can speak marathi, hindi, english, spanish (i cant get the accent right but rest is okay) and korean (beginner level, just enough that i can understand kdramas mostly without subtitles). ♡ i have a fear of heights despite that i am unusually interested in roller coasters and bungee jumping, however my parents refuse to take me to any of these because i will "fall". ♡ my mother is scared shitless of water, so i once made a joke of how i would love to drown in the ocean and was immediately enrolled in a swimming class and that is how my dreams of dying among the phytoplankton and starfishes were destroyed. ♡ i love all types of fruits but banana tastes boring to me now and i also do not like watermelon for some reason. mango, kiwis, muskmelon, apples, oranges, and pineapple are my absolute fav. ♡ i used to have waist-length hair, very wavy and very thick, it was gorgeous but i hated having to maintain that so i cut it off and got a boycut. after that it has grown to a small dora the explorer length hair and it makes me look really innocent so i like this look.

Love how brainwashed and gaslit Selwyn is canonically. "oh he's a bad boy rebel" No. That just isn't true. His (former) King left at age 12 and he didn't blink an eye at his own loyalty. Selwyn relied on the Order for stability and information and just the structure of his life in general. Even after Selwyn sees the truth, he cant bring himself to call the Order complete liers and frauds. He probably had a parental relationship with many of the adults who trained him,even if they just saw him as a shield and sword for the king. He was forced to believe he was inherently a monster, and would grow up to be a demon that betrayed everyone. He was taught to praise the Order. His fear of getting punished is so catholic guilt core. Even if obedience was beat into him, he still probably gave it to them on a silver platter because he was a child. He probably originally bonded emotionally to the Order because it allowed him to see what his mother was doing before she "died." Order used his grief and sadness and turned it into a weapon, not caring that he could never heal himself because all he can do is stab. He was forced to be a killer before he hit double digits. He was being trained before he even hit 5 by his mother. His entire life was training and working for this organization, this cult, him basing all his beliefs and morals on it, only to betray him and those he loves time and time again. His deadbeat dad isn't even his fucking deadbeat dad. The same organization that took him in and fucking raised him is the same thing he now has to stand against. The very aether he loves so much causes him to get aether drunk, a thing he specifically avoids, probably because his dad was a fucking alcoholic. In these books, he's constantly crashing out, because fuck I would too. He was taught to lick disdain from a blade and call it love.

Nick Davis is not the golden boy y’all think he is and that is constantly proven throughout the series. Yes. He is kind and sweet but he’s always breaking the rules and going against the very society he grew up in. I wish people would take that more seriously. The supposed Scion of Arthur challenging thousands of years of history and tradition constantly is deemed as the boring one somehow and it quite literally makes no sense. I also don’t like how a lot of y’all speed past the abuse he faced from his dad and the Order just so you can continue trying to justify not liking him.

put a finger down if you got into a story either book or movie and the main characters are your absolute favorite and it contains demons and demon hunters and at the end of this gut wrenching, emotionally taxing, absolutely well crafted, hauntingly beautiful story you realize you now are left to wonder who is the demon father of one of the main character's and with increasing horror you realize that the demon father is probably the king of demons which adds another horrifying twist to the story because the other main character has serious beef with the said king of demons but they love our half demon character and now it's a messy mess. *puts a finger down*

a little thought on the ongoing faye x natasia vs edwin exists going on in the fandom

i looove my sappho ships and there is definitely something more at least from nat's side regarding faye, but it is also true that faye and edwin had a wonderful relationship and a happy healthy marriage together. i do think faye woke up somedays wondering how it would've been if she made slightly different choices but in the end she and edwin were happy and together and nat was on the run for pretty obvious reasons.

highschool love exists and im not saying you can't love more than one person but i have seen a lot of fanarts and ships of these two gorgeous ladies and the comment section is divided between loving them vs edwin being a wonderful husband and father (also a point i'd like to say even if edwin was a horrible father or husband doesn't mean faye is allowed to have a lil free card yk).

basically ship whoever you want but if we can keep the timeline in mind and also appreciate the amazing chemistry and just pure love and affection and adoration these women had for each other it'd be amazingg
