This past weekend me and my kids test drove some new paints. A made a right bloody mess but my kids created wonderful stuff. So I took that mess, scanned it and then doodled all over it. Tried to make characters out of the shapes and marks. Kinda works. Anyway, happy Monday and heres to creating weird stuff out of test painting sheets. Here’s a little project that was a lot of fun. I was asked to design a logo for a gelato company in NYC. This is the final logo. They specialize in taking a puff pastry shell and filling it to bursting with yummy gelato! Yum yum yum! They wanted something fun and quirky that reflected their product. Happy Monday. It’s the start of the week and usually I’m not loving Mondays. Today was pretty productive though. I also had lasagna for lunch which helps a lot. My wife makes great lasagna. Yum yum. Yesterday I painted a canvas. It was a cheap canvas and the paint wasn’t great either but I made it work. Nice to get back to hand painting something.
