Not only has the legacy of the Manhattan Project continued to harm and displace Indigenous and Hispanic people but it’s only getting bigger: Biden recently tasked the Los Alamos National Lab facility to create 30 more plutonium pits (the core of a nuclear warhead) by 2026. This is an image and some words drawn on birch bark (a medium available to all ages & wealth brackets) by a kid named Onfim, from somewhere in the mid-1200s, in the Novgorod region of Russia.  There are actually several pieces with his name on them, apparently scraps used for writing exercises, and they include Onfim picturing himself as a knight stabbing someone on the ground, and Onfim drawing himself as some sort of fierce and possibly magical beast.
