Could you provide why you think Damian is 15? I thought he was 15 or 16 myself, but some people seem to think he is still 14, & I am double guessing myself now. Also, I could see Dick being 31. He is defin. somewhere between mid to late 20's to early 30's to me. The other Batkids ages make sense (tho sometimes I feel like some creators make Tim, Steph, & Damian seem more young visually and/or in behavior - less mature - than they actually are. Tho that may be purposeful sometimes w/ Tim?).

The very short version is that it's canonically been over a year and a half in-universe since the beginning of the Lazarus Tournament arc, when Damian was stated to be 14. Batman and Robin (2023) starts up the fall after the Lazarus Tournament (which takes place throughout the fall when Damian is 14), thus Damian must be 15.

The actual answer is that I'm insane and have a very detailed 9-10 page timeline tracking Tim's age from the Rebirth era to now and used a lot of Dick's and Damian's books as time progression signposts, since Damian has explicitly aged on-page in a way Tim hasn't and Dick's books often had time progression statements. For the Infinite Frontier through early Dawn of DC-era timeline (aka, 2021-2023), see these excerpts from the (still very much in-progress) timeline:

The Marya fic (raising criminal children my beloved)

Unorthodox Methods for Parenting Criminal Children (otherwise known as the Kaz and Marya Van Eck Partners in Crime WIP) my dearly beloved....you will get finished some day. Luckily for you, I've actually been working on it a bit, so apart from the things I've already shared about it I can provide both the full summary and a new snippet!

Summary:

Wylan Van Eck’s trouble started with the flowerbeds. Well, technically the trouble started the year before the flowerbeds, when Wylan noticed that Kaz Brekker had a standing invitation to play cards with his mother on Tuesday afternoons, but the flowerbeds were the first noticeable sign of trouble in the Van Eck household. Or: in the years after she comes home from St. Hilde's, everyone discovers that Marya Van Eck is surprisingly more relaxed about crime than her teenage criminal son (try: a lot more relaxed). Jesper thinks it's hilarious. Kaz takes full advantage of his new partner in crime. Wylan just wants to know why it’s his lot in life to be surrounded by criminals.

“Bring back Jesper’s shirt when you do it. The awful striped one. He’s been complaining about it all week and I know you have it.” Kaz smirked. “And why do you know that, merch?” “Because every time anything in the house goes missing, it’s always your fault.” “If I did, in fact, happen to know who was responsible for the theft, I believe the correct response would be ‘thank you for allowing me to honor Ghezen’s law of familial harmony by disposing of such a hideous article of clothing in a way that doesn’t make Jesper mad at me.’” Wylan pinched his nose. Why was Kaz like this? “We’re not married, Kaz. Ghezen’s law doesn’t apply to us. Just bring it back. And put the knives back in the china cabinet too, while you’re at it.” “It’s poor manners for a man to misplace his tableware and blame it on his guests,” Kaz said airily as he pulled on his coat, completely unbothered by Wylan’s accusations of petty thievery. “You’re lucky I’m not easily offended.” “It’s also poor manners to steal tableware from your host. Amazing how much etiquette we’re all learning today, isn’t it?”

Oh! oh! oh! Please tell me everything you can about Kanej Snow Queen AU?!

Yes! The tl;dr is "let's do a loose Snow Queen fairy tale retelling with the Crows," featuring Kaz and Inej as Kai and Gerda, Pekka as the Snow King, Heleen as the Malicious Sorceress, Jesper as the Robber Boy, and Nina and Matthias as the Princess and her Consort. I haven't figured out where Wylan is fitting into this AU yet, but rest assured he'll be there too (along with his awful father).

I was inspired by the idea of Kaz becoming cruel and distant to his friends and loved ones because he has the shards of the mirror in his eyes/heart and then "dying" in the river, and basically being stuck in Pekka's palace trying to reconstruct the mirror and bring back his lost older brother. The rest kind of followed on from there!
