cruorbellum:
“Depends on what you mean by that.”
“I mean it exactly as it was said. Company... tea or conversation, or both.”
@cruorbellum
“Company is what I desire, if you’ll oblige me.”
wxrispeace:
Lips curled into a small smile, fingers toying with her shirt lazily. “A woman as powerful as you does a lot more to help me than just that.”
Pecking his cheek and then his jaw, Fate’s own smile widened at his words. She adored his flattery; it always set her at ease with their plans. “You want more than my touch then?”
wxrispeace:
“You know what to say to make me feel better about these things,” War purred, arms sliding around her waist.
Fate smiled widely at the embrace by the horseman, leaning close to press her lips against his in a brief peck. “Well, sometimes a woman’s touch is needed,” she smirked, fingers idling with his hair.
wxrispeace:
“I don’t make the rules. Death is controlled by my brother. If it’s in his plan, there’s no changing his mind. He’s as stubborn as he is ugly.”
“Grizzly bitter thing, he is,” Fate whispered, locking her arms around War. “Then I’ll make sure he’s a martyr at the very least. Keep the flames of your war burning,” she offered with a smile.
wxrispeace:
( OPEN )
“Nobody ever said that this would be easy. If anyone did, then they’re highly misguided.”
“I just happen to be fond of that general. He's quite the charmer. Does he have to die, darling?”
txrncoat:
“…. This sounds like one big, fucking trick. There’s no way you’d let me do that.”
Fate slunk down to sit in his lap, playing with his hair. “I would. Do you think I’m happy living forever watching the suffering and trauma this life can bring?” Placing a peck against his lips, Fate looked over her shoulder as if she was expecting an arrival. “Past acquaintances of mine might not like it, but... “ She shrugged, leaving the air dead in callous refusal of details. “You can do it for me, Dorrian, and then you shape your life how you want.”
txrncoat:
“I feel like that’s a trick question, and also the use of the term ‘baby’ is weirding me out a bit, but I’m gonna answer yes because that’s the truth.”
“Well, you are too weaksauce right now to do that. What you need is to bring me to your level... make me mortal, and then, well--- you’ve killed before, I don’t have to walk you through that part... Sound like a plan?”
txrncoat:
“I’m not sure anything you have for me to do would be fun. But I’m curious, so I’ll bite. What is it?”
“Do you wanna see me dead, baby?”
txrncoat:
“Or you could try to be a decent person and not do anything. That’s a good idea, too.”
“See, but even when I try to be nice, you’re still a huffy little ungrateful toddler. Anyway-- I have something for you to do, and it’ll be fun for you.”
txrncoat:
“I’d rather not have you arrange anything that has to do with me.”
“Then you take away all my fun. Not even a teensy weensy little detail like... Hmm, I could make the lights go out... or make it really loud in here? That might be fun.”
@txrncoat
“That is something I can arrange for you, if you want.”
Send in kinks you think my muse has.
They’ll have to verify, deny or accept them.
interdiit:
※ Giving a single laugh, he rubbed at the back of his neck slightly. “It is more Washington whose choices are charting the course of life for me, but I am doing my best to follow his orders. He is a smarter man than I,” he pointed out. “You flatter me, Madame Fate, but I am not sure I understand why you are doing this.” It might have been a custom that he didn’t fully comprehend, but Lafayette was, admittedly, more than a bit confused.
“You might not see it as much, but your men do. I’ve had many who have expressed the same endearments you have for Washington but with your name in his place,” Fate informed him, looking over at him with a half smile. “Never forget how much courage your own bravery has inspired in these young men. You forget, before you-- there was Lee,” cringed the redhead, passing him a knowing sideways glance. She had not expected him to understand her purpose here, especially without knowing the supernatural qualities and meaning behind her title. “Let’s call it... record keeping.” Preemptive record keeping
interdiit:
※ Fate? The name was familiar – he’d heard it being used more than a few times in his time in America. Perhaps the people in the camp were talking about her? It had seemed more like a thing than a person when they spoke of it, but who was he to properly tell? English was not his first language, after all. “How do you know me?” he asked her, his brow furrowing just a bit. “I cannot recall ever meeting you…”
Oh, thank Heavens she was dealing with an immigrant. She loved the American colonies for this very reason-- well, not colonies for very long, were they? “I make it my business to know all of those of importance, those who have command and those whose choice chart the course of life for the men around them, whether literally or figuratively. You are one such man in this camp. You are among quite a few, and I don't just speak of military ranking. You are a man of character.”
