Night had fallen ever since the wolf had said his words.
He was so tsundre and he was so cocky for being stuck in a hybrid tracking factory.
Your ears twitched lightly as you store at the hole in the metallic ceiling, the royal blue sky shone brightly above you, a streak of the moon’s light shot a blurred line across your cage.
The stars seemed to twinkle less brightly and seemed more dull.
You couldn’t help but feel… Nothing. You really didn’t know how to process this scenario.
I mean, almost 24 hours ago you were jumping and having the time of your life in your little village of hybrids.
Now you were still a in a stingy cramped cage along with thousands of other hybrids.
Their scents drove you crazy.
There was pretty and predetors and it had your hormones going haywire.
You sighed deeply and glanced over the wolf’s cage.
His hair was flat over his face as he curled into himself for heat.
Oh how you envied his ability to sleep.
Well, not really - but you get it.
Your eyes sparkled with tears and you sadly sighed.
The sounds of industrial noise and loud yapping of unhappy people awoken you. You were also greated by the ever so wonderful sound of someone slamming into your cage with a metal bar, causing the cage to rattle and your ears to ring.
You yelped, ears coming down onto your head as you looked up fearfully.
It was a new worker. One that looked experienced.
“Huh? You must be the new cat” He snickered to himself, openging your cage and skillfully securing the catch pole around your neck in a matter of milliseconds.
You couldn’t even blink before you were being dragged like some sort of doll across the factory hall. The broken concrete often dug into your shoe ridden feet. You winced as you felt something slice against your feet.
The burning on your throat was starting to become unbearable. It was like they had sharpened the metal of the catch pole.
Many workers were men, you noticed that. There were little to no females.
He continued to walk, not caring for your health.
The room started to darken, no lights were in sight. Even your night vision struggled to work.
“Alrighty, let’s see how long you last here”
“Alright, if anyone tries anything: you know the drill” A gruff man spoke. He acted as if he were a police officer talking to prisoners out in the courtyard but in reality is was almost 100 hybrids chained to the walls with a large land space between them.
You were next between a tiger and the wolf from earlier. The tiger seemed so weak you were surprised he hadn’t collapsed from his violent shaking.
Two large men distracted you from the hybrid next to you as they carried in an animal. As you tried to smell what it was you realised it was wounded.
The predetor in you went wild.
“You know what’s going to happen?” The wolf chuckled darkly, glancing at you with blackened eyes.
“What is this” You mumbled back while watching the men with furrowed eyebrows. They set an injured dear in the middle of the room and walked off.
“You’re in for a surprise” He chuckled darkly once again and sat up. His chain rattled loudly against the wet, moulded walls.
You were terrified at this point.
A loud air horn rang and instantly the room went wild.
It was a blur of tails and blood and it sounded like a massacre. Because it was.
The hybrids seemed like they had been sent into their primal modes in a click and completely forgetting about their human parts.
You sat back against the wall, ears strung back as you watched fearfully.
The hybrid beside you was weak and he struggled to move. It seemed like he had been starved.
You tried to ignore the bloody screaming and the animalistic growls produced from the tower of hybrids who circled the dear.
“A-Are you okay?” You managed to squeak out watching as the hybrid seemed to use too much effort just to look in your direction.
“I’m dying” He stated, voice weak and quaking. Your heart leapt for the tiger hybrid.
“What is this?!” You asked, glancing at the hybrid pile.
“This is for their entertainment” He managed, taking a deep breath in through his nose “They fight for food, like animals” He spat and sat back.
“What-” “I’ve been here for about a year, just over and it only gets worse” He interrupted and closed his eyes.
“Do you need help?” you asked, your shackles hitting against the wall and you leaned foreward. His guard was down. Completely down.
He didn’t reply but you knew he heard.
“I’m (y/n)” You introduced yourself, watching the black haired hybrid closely.
“Taehyung” His reply was blunt but it was what you asked for.
You jumped as a loud ear splitting roar ring out. It sounded like a pack of animals harmosing in the middle of the night.
Instantly the hybrids scattered, spreading as they watched a hybrid.
