Indeed it is but Iâd rather bleed through my ears then have to forceably listen to her. Oh are you a devoted fan? Do you have posters with her face plastered all across your dorm walls?
If I had pictures of her plastered on my wall, itâd be for a completely different reason, trust me. And you gotta find your chill somehow. Itâs just music, even if itâs crap.

âThatâs a very odd way of looking at Latin⌠I always thought Spanish was the sexiest language.â
âI was kidding, I donât know jack shit about Latin. Or Spanish, really. Just a little French. What are you picking a language for, anyway?â
Wandering around campus, Iâve heard at least three separate people blasting the likes of Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, and some god awful country artist at obscenely obnoxious volumes. Iâve never been more thankful to live off campus.
Hey now, it's a free country. And don't diss my homegirl Ari.
A pack of crisps (or âchipsâ as they said over here), a can of Red Bull and chewing gum: enough to get her through the late hours of the night, hopefully. The three items lay haphazardly on the counter as Olivia dug into the pocket of her jacket, trying to locate her change, only to find that all her fingers came into contact with, were stray threads and a wrinkled receipt. Turning to the person behind her, Olivia gave them a pained smile. âIâm sorry, do you think you might have a bit of change to spare? I think I may have lost the money I had in my pocket.â
Wren shrugged his shoulders at the girlâs request. âNo can do, sorry. You probably shoulda checked your pockets for money before stopping to buy stuff.â
Eloise set her glass down before allowing her hand to fall comfortably into the near strangers. Never one to really follow the rules or play things safe she reached for the neck of the entire whiskey bottle before exiting the party. âThis looks like the beginning to a scary movie, as long as you donât chop me into a million little pieces with a mask on, or get me stuck in an opening garage door, Iâm completely trusting youâŚ.uhm, what was your name again?â She laughed before allowing her pace to match his.
Wren was definitely a reckless kinda guy, who loved it when he came across reckless girls. And as he watched Eleanor (Emmeline? Eva?) grab a bottle of whiskey before accompanying him upstairs, he knew heâd definitely found a reckless one. âDonât you worry, thereâs no dude with a chainsaw waiting for us up on the roof or anything,â he laughed, entering one of the upstairs bedrooms before opening one of the windows and climbing through, stepping out onto the roof. âAnd itâs Wren. Youâre gonna have to remind me of yours, too,â he grinned before extending his hand to help her through the window.

Eloise allowed her mind to turn to a slight haze as drink after drink quickly poured into her body. Her attention veered from the boy to the people around her, most in a drunken state close to hers. Heels still planted firmly on the ground she returned her gaze to the boy, surveying his near flawless facial features before he spoke. âOh, I was saying I wanted to figure out how to get onto the roof, the stars are probably beautiful tonight,â Eloise grinned before taking another sip of her whiskey.
Wrenâs attention was quickly re-focused onto the ridiculously pretty girl standing in front of him as he tried to get his brain to remember her name (Ella? Emily? Emma? He knew it was something along those lines). He grinned once she mentioned going up to the roof. âWell, why didnât you just say so?â He replied teasingly. âCome on, I know a way up.â Wren took her hand, leading her away from the party.
âFinally!â Claire exclaimed as she wrote the number 9 in one of the squares in the puzzle she was solving. Looking up, she noticed the person sitting across from her staring. âOh, Iâm sorry if I disturbed you,â she apologised. âI just⌠finally got this number right,â she explained, using her pen to point at the Sudoku she had been solving.Â
Wren looked up, a bit startled by the strangerâs sudden outburst. See, this was why he usually didnât spend time at the library. Upon seeing how pretty the girl was, however, he suddenly didnât mind as much. âDonât apologize, I get it. That shitâs satisfying as hell. Although Iâm definitely more of a crossword guy.â
âWhat the fuck are you doing in my dorm?â
âI heard there were girls here. Relax, dude, Iâm just waiting for your roommate. He owes me some money.â
âHmm. German, Italian, Latin or French.. Or I guess I could do English. Help me pick a language.â
âLatin. Nothing hotter than a dead language.â
âWe literally just started the semester, and yet this place already makes me want to embrace agonizing death.â
âWell, arenât you a bundle of fucking joy.â
Wren wasnât really paying attention to the conversation he was having with the person in front of him. The music was blaring not too far away from where they were standing and heâd lost count of the number of drinks he had (not that he was falling all over the place, but Wren was definitely starting to feel the effects), so needless to say he was slightly distracted. âWait, what? I lost track of what you were saying. Iâm too buzzed for this.â
