The ocean isnât calm, yet everyone finds peace within it. Some people find calm in the chaos.
With so much emptiness, arenât stars, planets and people just glitches in an otherwise elegant and uniform nothingness? Like pieces of lint on a black sweater? You might say that so much emptiness makes the tiny bits of matter that much more meaningful â simply by the fact that, against all odds, they arenât empty. What if trillions of stars and planets were crammed right next to each other? They wouldnât be special at all. It seems like we are both pathetically insignificant, and miraculously important at the same time.

C O S M O S ;Â âWe are all made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.â
A mix inspired by the wonder and tranquility of gazing upon stars. For intimate silences that last long into the night, tracing patterns in a glitter-filled sky. (for kristin). | listen.Â
What horrifies me most is the idea of being useless: well-educated, brilliantly promising, and fading out into an indifferent middle age.

I'm always a slut for conspiracy theories
People scare me. They change their minds so quick. One moment itâs âI love youâ and âyou make me happyâ and the next itâs âIâm not sure anymoreâ and âthis isnât what I want.â
Does anybody else really like it when someone plays with your hands? Like when they just grab your hands and massage them or when they hold your hand and move your fingers around and then kiss them. Does anyone else like that or am I just weird?
Donât fall in love with the boyâs who hold your hair back when youâve drank too much, Or the ones who take your hand while youâre crying and pray circles into your palms. Maybe donât kiss the boyâs who go for midnight walks with you and stay up till 5 am to help you with that final paper due at 8. Donât go for the ones that know your worth even when you donât, Even when you call them to pick you up because some fuck boy left you with only a few hickeys and no ride home. Please donât pay attention to the boyâs who take your self hate and say âyou really donât see yourself the way others see you, do you?â Oh god. Just donât fall in love with them. Please, just donât. Because itâs the ones that kiss your eyelids and stretch marks that fuck you over. Itâs the ones that tell you the truth that bring you to your knees. Itâs the good ones that leave you curled up in a ball for months begging for the bleeding in your gut to stop. And itâs all because theyâre the unforgettable ones. The boyâs who leave so many marks of love on you that no one can compare. God knows theyâre it. Fuck. You were it.
It took too long to figure out how to put this into words. I guess thatâs how you know I loved you.
lmao (laughing my anxiety off)
Growing up is weird. Losing touch with friends who you thought would be at your wedding is weirder.Â
REDESIGNED BOOK COVERS | The Song of Achilles by Madeline MillerÂ
âI will n e v e r leave him. It will be this, always, for as long as he will let me.
If I had had words to speak such a thing, I would have. But there were none that seemed big enough for it, to hold that s w e l l i n g truth.
As if he had heard me, he reached for my hand. I did not need to look; his fingers were e t c h e d into my memory, slender and petal-veined, strong and quick and never wrong.
âP a t r o c l u sâ he said. He was always better with words than I.âÂ
