Undyne is a BOSS but she's not a BOSS MONSTER.Boss monsters are what tori and asgore are. Their souls can persist after death, Undyne did persist after death but that was through DETERMINATION.

Reading undertale fics is like a gamble You either get people who forget fucking everything about monsters or fics that have every break up cliche ever Monster souls do not have color to them, they are all white. Sans, Papyrus, Grillby, Alphys, Mettaton, and Undyne are not boss monsters. For hecks sake if you wanted a fucking colored monster soul at least make it so its faintly tinted. Or like have fuckin tendrils of color surround the soul.
