Surround yourself with the right people, and realize your own worth. Honestly, there are enough bad people out there in the world - you donât need to be your own worst enemy.

Pyrite || Scott & Carter
"Cute. Very cute. Now I understand why heâs with you." Thomas said after Carter kissed him. "Now time to play a little game." Scott tried to stop him, but with that, Thomas quickly jabbed a needle into her neck and injected wolfsbane into her blood stream. "Does that feel okay, love? Donât worry, at this rate you only have a few minutes." Scott quickly pushed Thomas out of the way and shoved his hand into his chest, and grabbed onto his heart. "I hope you rot in hell, asshole." He said, and then ripped out his heart. Scott didnât know if that killed him or not, but it had too. It just had to. Now with that done, Scott then ran over to Carter. When a good amount of wolfsbane hits the bloodstream of a werewolf, thereâs only one thing that could happen. And that was death. "Iâm so sorry, Carter. âNo. This is not suppose to happen. Youâre not suppose to die. No. You were suppose to go back home where itâs safe. No, Carter. Iâm so sorryâŠ.â Scott knew that his blood wouldnât be able to cure the wolfsbane from her system. But he still still gave her some because he knew itâd save her in the only way it could, âThis will save you, and Iâm sorry for this doing to you. But dammit, youâre not suppose to die like this. This is not where your story ends.â
"Aw shit," Carter said as he jabbed the needle into her neck. She felt the pain almost instantaneously as she toppled to the ground. "I kiss you and this is how you repay me? Scottâs right, you are an ass hole," she slurred. The world was spinning. It hurt, but Carter was tired of being so needy. She was tired of calling out to Scott, begging him to make all the pain go away. "I didnât see that coming. Well, my time was bound to come eventually." She laughed quitely.
"Donât be sorry, stupid. I donât need you to be upset over me. Not if Iâm⊠Dying. Alright?" She laughed weakly. "Yeah, yeah, Scott. Give me all the blood you want. I donât think itâs going to do jack shit honestly." She drank the blood knowing it would make Scott feel a tiny bit better. "Damn, this stuff works quit. I can feel myselfâ Good bye, Scott. Itâs been fun, really. But Iâve got to go now. IâŠLove you," she finished not having the energy to speak anymore.
Donât leave me alone with these freaks.
You'll be fine. You have Jer. He's all that you need.
Troye and Zach stole all of my close that werenât these. I donât wanna talk about it.
That's... Hilarious. You look great in drag though.
Oh uhmâŠSee âya âround,Carter.
My best buddy.... You made being here bearable... Even if it became unbearable later on.
Come on, tell me I at least get a kiss good bye.
Youâre leaving?
Yeah... I'm leaving tonight. It's kind of a last minute thing.I'm so sorry I missed your wedding, Thea. I wasn't there for you. Congratulations to you and Griffin.
See ya around, Carter.
Alexien?
You look different.
G-Good bye.
Pyrite || Scott & Carter
Scott stopped when he finally put together who was following them. âEverythingâs going to be okay.â He whispered to her. Scott then turned around, âCome out, Thomas. You caught us.â With that, Scottâs cousin appeared right behind the couple. âScott, hello. Are you surprised?" Thomas questioned him. "Surprised by what? The fact that I supposedly killed you, all those months ago, and now youâre here? Not really. It doesnât surprise me at all. I knew you had a witch put a spell on you that kept you alive forever. Nobody else did, though. Which was really fun, seeing all their reactions.â Scott replied to him. Thomas then looked at Carter, âAnd this must be the werewolf.â Scott then blocked her quickly, âYouâre not going to hurt her.â
Once she realized who it was, the fear left her body. It was replaced with a hesitant sort of curiosity, and she knew how to deal with him. "So this is Thomas? I never thought we'd meet. Since your technically supposed to be dead because this ass hole staked you," she half joked. "Are you Lenox's always this attractive?" Carter asked Thomas biting her lip. "I can't believe I ditched a gorgeous pair of Louis Vuitton heels for this guy. I'm going to get them." Turning her back to the both of them, she started walking away, but then she realized the only reason that Thomas would be here.
Revenge. On Scott. And what was the way people tended to get back at him? Through her. Her life was always at risk because of it. Making the executive decision into her own hands, she spun around on her bare feet and charged towards Thomas. But instead of attacking him, she kissed him. She deepened this kiss, pulling him closer to her with one hand and tugging on Thomas' hair with her free hand. Finally pulling away for air, Carter sighed and stepped back. "That was fun," she muttered.Â

Scott looked over to the area Carter was talking about, and studied it for a second. He could hear something in the distance, but yet, he couldnât see anything. âI heard something, I think.â He said holding her closer as they walked. Scott led them to the other side of the street where it seemed safer and listened to Carter as she continued on with her story. âWell hopefully you figure out what you want to do, Carter. It will be good for you. And knowing your dad, heâll help you get to where you want to go.â He said to her. Scott then cleared his throat, âI was thinking about leaving too, anyways. Before you even told me you were leaving. I need to go back home, you know? Maybe apologize to Celeste because I was pretty bad to her.â He said as he remembered he still had yet to apologize to her. âThen I was thinking of going to England maybe, for a few years again. Itâs been awhile. âAnd iâm hoping that maybe youâd accompany me?â Scott then heard footsteps again and stopped. âCarter, stay close. Someoneâs following us.â
At the mention of someone following them, Carter kicked off her heels and stayed close to Scott. She got an eerie feeling from her surroundings. Something wasn't right about the place. "Scott, I can hear it. What are we supposed to do?" she questioned him anxiously. "I think we need to get back to the city part. They can't attack us in front of a bunch of humans." Carter began to run, still holding Scott tightly, but stopped when she heard the person getting closer. "Oh god," she mumbled, her voice trembling slightly.Â

Scott turned towards the restaurant, and then back to her. âNo, we donât have to. A walk sounds way better, actually. Itâs a nice night out, tonight. Also we still have to catch up remember?â He then held her hand and followed her as she pulled him away from the restaurant. âSo when did you plan on leaving?â He asked Carter as he walked beside her.
"Good point," she said with a smile. "I was thinking about leaving a few weeks from now, but--" She paused and looked to the side. Her eyes narrowed in the direction of the trees. "Did you see that or was it just me?" she asked Scott curiously. "I think we should walk in a different direction." Hoping that she was just being paranoid, she continued with what she was saying. "I'm kind of sick of running back to my dad, but he's always been the person who claims that I can come say with him no matter what the circumstances. I just need to figure things out, you know? Grow up. Figure out what exactly it is I want to do with my life. And interning at this place isn't it.
Pyrite || Scott & Carter
Scott wrapped his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss before pulling away. âYouâre so stupid.â He said smiling at her. âWeâre both so stupid. Jesus Christ.. Youâd think weâd learn a lesson the first time.â He paused for a second, ââI think weâll never learn.â Were they really going to do this again? Scott had to think for a few, but then he finally realized that the both of them could. It was so stupid of them, and completely insane. But they could do it. Scott pressed his lips to hers and kissed her once more. That same spark was still there, as if it was just waiting to light once again. He then pulled away, âIâm not going to argue with you on this one. Iâm tired of all that stupid arguing we did. All I have to tell you is that if any Vampire comes after you, just place one big bite on them and then theyâre basically dead, love.â He said with a laugh. âI missed you. âI missed us.â He said wrapping his arms around her once again. âWe really are insane, Carter. But just like I said all those years ago, Ms. Carter Wright, thereâs nobody iâd rather be insane with but you.â
Carter smiled at him. She wasn't sure what else to say to him, not now at least. She was just relieved to have gotten all of that off her chest. She turned back towards the restaurant. "We don't have to go back in there, do we?" she asked him. "Let's ditch this place. Come on, we can just walk around or something," she said taking his hand and pulling him eagerly away from the restaurant.Â
