Testimonials:
1. Bop Design was approached by Lorri Sulpizio, CEO of the Lotus Leadership Institute for a new website design for her firm. LLI is a San Diego based consulting firm focusing on women’s, sports, corporate, and non-profit leadership. The old LLI website was not serving as an effective credibility piece or lead generator. The website did not effectively communicate to LLI customer segments. The new LLI website design effectively channeled the four customer segments to the appropriate section of the website. The new website design and content effectively differentiated LLI from the plethora of management consultants in San Diego. The new website design is SEO friendly, with targeted keywords integrated in the web content. Once the website was designed and went live, the next task was to drive ideal customers to the website. Bop Design utilized email marketing tactics using MailChimp so that LLI could remain “top of mind” with both current and prospective clients. The new website design has dramatically helped in retaining visitors on the site and helping serve as a gateway to new clients. Average page views, time on site and number of visitors have all dramatically increased since the launch of the new website.

2. Bop Design was approached by Diana Streit, Marketing Director of Blue Skies LLC about a new website design that resonated with Blue Skies’ four primary target customer segments: companies in life sciences, apparel & footwear, food & beverage and media & entertainment industry sectors. Blue Skies is a management consulting firm that helps companies adopt and implement new technologies to allow them to compete more effectively in their industries. Bop Design created a website design that effectively guides each customer segment to the right section of the website. The website design needed to resonate with very different customer types and Bop Design created a website that effectively communicated with each segment. The new and improved website design has served as a valuable sales tool and credibility piece for the Blue Skies team to reference as they build new relationships with prospective clients. The website consists of many educational resources like white papers and case studies that help complement the sales process.

3. Bop Design was hired for website design services by Frederick Gaston, CEO of the Southern California business litigation firm, Gaston and Gaston. The old Gaston website was not holding visitors on the site and there was minimal website conversion – most visitors were not completing a form or contacting Gaston and Gaston for the firm’s services while on the website. The new website design and web marketing strategy dramatically increased the number of visitors to the site, average time on the site and number of website conversions. The following are some statistics after the Gaston website design and messaging was improved-
Average page views increase of 1.86 (meaning the average number of page views per visit increased by almost 2 pages per visit)
Average time on site increased by 1 minute
Bounce Rate decreased by 33% (meaning less people “bounced” off the site after 1 page view)
“Website Grader” score of 94 out of 100
Alexa US Ranking of 90,069
A website’s design serves as the foundation for any web marketing campaign. You can be driving the most ideal prospects to your website but if the website is not designed well and does not communicate a compelling message, the visitor will not stay long. A website re-design will help decrease your “bounce rate,” keeping visitors on your site longer and increasing the likelihood of engagement with your business. This is exactly what happened with Gaston and Gaston. The improved website design, increased page views and average time on site translated to increased ideal client leads.

4. Bop Design was hired by Crosswind Strategies to design a more credible and compelling website. Crosswind is a San Diego based boutique wealth management firm that helps clients achieve financial security
The old Crosswind website had many design and navigational issues such as-
Outdated Navigation. The old website only had a left hand navigation, which is outdated and not user friendly. Most websites have a top horizontal navigation because that’s where users go initially to navigate through a site. The easier you make it for a user to navigate through your website, the more likely they will become a lead.
Brand Confusion. The company name/logo should be the first thing a visitor sees when they visit a website. That’s why most websites have the company name or logo in the upper left hand corner. On the old Crosswind homepage, there may have been visitor confusion on whether they were on the correct site.
Lack of Content. The old Crosswind website did not contain much content. There were only 6 to 7 pages and each page only had a few sentences of content. Content keeps a visitor on the website and prompts conversion – a visitor taking a required action like completing a form or contacting your business.
The new Crosswind website is a dramatic improvement, the following issues were resolved-
Intuitive Navigation. Top horizontal navigation is how most visitors expect to navigate a website. The improved navigation allows visitors to find the content they are searching for as quickly and easily as possible. Also, the homepage displays secondary navigation with boxes a visitor can click on – appealing to different types of website navigators.
Brand Clarity. Within 5 seconds of a visitor arriving on the Crosswind website, a visitor will understand what Crosswind Strategies stands for and what makes them different as a wealth management firm.
Rich Content. The new website contains 20+ pages of content, allowing a visitor to remain engaged on the website.
This dramatic increase in content has led to an increase in the average number of page views and time on site. These two factors lead to more conversions. With more robust content, a website can serve as a true destination and resource center for prospective and current clients.

5. Bop Design was hired by Barsa & Company to design a more modern and dynamic website. Barsa & Company is a San Diego based accounting firm that partners with small and medium size businesses, helping clients with bookkeeping, accounting and tax work.
The old Barsa website had many design and navigational issues such as-
Cluttered Layout. A business never wants their homepage to appear “too busy” because website visitors will become overwhelmed and quickly leave the site. The old Barsa website is cluttered with text and does not effectively highlight areas they want a visitor to focus on.
Lack of Visuals. The old Barsa homepage was boring. The homepage is the most important page on a website. It’s where users decide if they want to see more or leave – so it needs to be the most visually engaging page.
No Calls to Action. It’s important that a website has clear calls to action on each webpage, so the visitor knows the next step. Calls to action will effectively guide a website visitor to engage with your business. The old Barsa website lacks clear and compelling calls to action. Without effective calls to action, website conversion will suffer.
The new Barsa website remarkably improves the visitor experience, some of the highlights include-
Homepage with Rich Media. Adding some rich media (like a slideshow) on your homepage makes your website much more dynamic and holds a visitor’s attention. It is also serves as an excellent opportunity to display your firm’s specialty areas. This way, a visitor quickly gains a good idea of what your company does and what makes you different. A mini product gallery or slideshow that communicates your unique value proposition is a great use of a homepage with rich media. The new Barsa website slideshow highlights the firm’s unique value proposition and service offerings so a visitor understands Barsa within seconds.
Compelling Photos. Exciting, high quality images and color will add visual interest to your website and urge a user to delve deeper. The new Barsa website includes compelling imagery throughout the website. The photos were meticulously selected so that the imagery resonates with Barsa’s target market of small and medium size business decision makers. Ideal prospective client visitors will view the website and say, “This is me!”
Strong Calls to Action. On each web page, a clear call to action is essential. This allows a visitor to understand the next step. On the new Barsa website, each web page contains a clear call to action such as “Schedule a Consultation” or “Contact Us” allowing the website visitor to easily engage with Barsa & Company and take the next step
