I feel the distance of unspoken words

As the space between us widens.

I want to be with you

But you do not care.

I catch a glimpse of you

Walking with her.

You do not see me

But I think you feel me nearby.

I could accidentally bump into you

To get your attention.

I don’t want to see her face

I want it to remain a blur in my mind.

She took you from me

But you went willingly.

We have no more words for each other

All we have are memories of days gone by.

My heart will always miss you

Even when I am with another.

Will your heart miss me?

That will remain a mystery

For us to carry over to the next life.
