The anticipation of waiting for a response from someone who knew you inside out is unfathomable. Tearing up little by little as I type this. As they say - smile that it happened and not moan that it ended. Its amazing how life humbles you.

Its the raging hope that wells forth competing with the tide of hopelessness for the front seat.

Maybe it just wasn't meant to be , Maybe it's just better to be free I shall live in the liminal space ; maybe then I'll stop the chase 

The gap between us only expands and I lament about all our failed plans

Trapped memories in fading Polaroids, filled with endless promises of choice.

Nostalgia is my only muse , as I sit with the weight of my blues

and regret ever leaving the gap

 between me and you .

i used to be able to write and write. Until my fingers bleed and my eyes go dry. I never stopped writing. I can't say that I was extremely talented at it. But I knew I was good because of how much ideas that kept going in my head. I sometimes wonder whatever happened to that version of myself and when did I start growing up.

Perhaps the most wanted feeling in the world to be seen and heard. We all exist there is no question about that but feeling seen and heard is what gives that existence a sense of meaning and purpose.

In this age of instant gratification that our devices give us we crave for a human touch that is going astray at a greater pace than we would like

I have this habit of being the person who clicks these candid pictures of people who i love who are caught in the moment particularly when they are in their joyous state (laughing smiling etc). I feel the need to capture them in that moment because it will pass. The urge to save the moment somewhere in my gallery for me to reminisce it whenever I feel like. I believe such candid moments cannot be re-created when they are conscious that a photograph is being taken. Such candid moments have so much more life into it.

I feel it is a more selfish thing to do - like i don't click for them to have a good photograph but for my personal joy.

The dopamine rush I get when someone appreciates my work or gives a subtle hint that they liked what I did. That is where motivation peaks, my heart smiles and every nerve in my fibre is loaded with joy. The feeling supersedes any other emotion I am feeling at that point.

This is what being intoxicated means for me!

This tendency of creating situations of panic in my head has been a habit - even if there is nothing worthy of attention, something from somewhere pops up and that serves as a fuel to create a sense of accomplishment. And then the cycle continues. Initially i thought it was the case as it was a busy period but then it continued. That's when i realised this is a vicious cycle and a sense of excitement and anxiety to complete the thing causing stress is fodder to my brain.

The constant urge to go find the next best thing - being purposeless in the pursuit of finding your next purpose. This is a vicious cycle - I hope to break away from this but somewhere this is what feeds my mind.

My mind no longer finds solace in serenity or stillness in the present.

I have only heard and read about pain and heartbreak from an outsider's perspective. Up until now! It is a sinking feeling.

You tell yourself it isn't the end of the world but then begin to ponder - it certainly feels like it. Atleast for now it does. Humans are strange beings. In pursuit of attaining ecstasy they let themselves be vulnerable to the agony of heartbreak.

Loneliness and being alone are different things they say. While one is a chosen state the other quite the opposite.

Nevertheless both kinds of people crave love and to be loved.

Love is such a fleeting word thrown around nowadays for fun.

Are we just looking for everlasting love or immediate gratification of our temptations

So hey guys!! Whoever is reading this. This is my first post here. Despite me using this app since quite a few months now first time i thought why not post!! Scary? No doubt but let's see how it goes. Currently i have no like no followers for obvious reasons lol.

In the times to come i hope to share my writings here!!!
