Your POV

You hoped for the answer you'd been wishing and finally, Sal answered. "Maybe because I am," He said trying to flirt. You let out a sigh as you looked up at him "Well I'm sorry but I'm going to have to decline" you said bluntly. "Wha... but Larry and Ash said you have a massive crush on me I was so hopeful...." he sounded heartbroken. But truth be told that love had fizzled out the second he left for college and never said goodbye and never talked you to from the occasional hang out every two months. "I used to," you said working out the total into the cash register. "Then what happened?" He asked so confused. "You left.." you said handing back his change. "Now if you'll excuse me I'll be taking my break." You shut the till down and walk to the break room in the back. you felt bad but ultimately you no longer had that connection with Sal anymore not after the constant shutdowns of plans because he was tired or already hanging out with the others or because your schedules didn't align. You had gotten used to the thought that you'd never be as close again.

So you decided it was best to focus on other things, Leading to you no longer being interested in dating until the end of college.

After your break was over you went back to the cash register to be greeted with ash. "Do you need anything?" You ask slightly confused. "Why did you reject Sal?" She asked upset. "Because I'm not into him like that?" You answer back. "But what about all those times in high school when we'd talk for hours about our crushes and you'd go on and on about Sal!" She yelled. "That was high school ash? Over time I realised it was one of those silly high school crushes plus Sal didn't like me back then?" You were starting to get annoyed with the questions. You wanted more than anything for a customer to walk in. "So if you aren't buying anything please leave" you replied bluntly. Ash turned and walked out huffing, muttering about something you couldn't understand.

Once your shift had finished you closed up and walked to the bus stop and waited. That was until you noticed a familiar car pull up. "Larry? What are you doing here?" You asked confused walking up to his car. "We need to talk... so let's go for a drive" he said not looking at you. "Fine." You replied bluntly getting into the passenger seat. "I'm not here to talk you into going on a date with Sal..." he answered. "Oh thank god I thought you and Ash had planned something" You let out a sigh and felt less panicked. "But I do want to apologise... about leaving you behind and not noticing how alone you were." He said looking at you slightly. "It's fine... we weren't close in high school so I didn't expect us to stay friends" you answered as Larry pulled up at your house. "Just... if you ever feel lonely, I'll happily hang out with you!" He yelled as he drove away. "I don't think that will ever happen" you whispered as you unlocked your door, closed it and walked to your bedroom, careful not to wake your parents. You flopped on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. You checked your phone and saw that Sal, Ash, Larry and Todd all were at a party right now.... it made you laugh as you realised you were right to stay away from them. Larry had all the time to invite you but never did despite saying he'd always be there if you wanted to hang out. You always thought it would be you and Sal against the world...

Just like it was in high school but now it was you against Sal and the world....

"But hey, nothing can stay the same forever." You thought as you turned over to sleep. Just as you close your eyes a tear slips by as you think of what you could have had if you had just put more effort into making friends.

[A/n I'm sorry.... but I couldn't help it I needed angst! And sorry it took so long to write, between exams and writer's block it was a lot to handle. But I did it!]

[Sorry for not uploading been sick and now exams have started😅. Also, this is set in modern-day ] (f/n)= female name

It had been a few months since you and the gang all went to college...

Sadly you didn't stay together. Sal and Larry went to a local college, Todd went to a college in another city and Ash went to an art college. Here you were stuck working as you couldn't afford to go into debt and weren't able to get a scholarship.

It was a slow day at the gas station not many people bought anything except for gas... but hey at least after these next two paychecks you can finally do online classes and still have money left over! But even that didn't distract you from not having your friends around with all of them in college you started to wonder if they had forgotten about you... You had seen from Ashley's Instagram that they had all recently gotten together for a hangout. I broke your heart when you realised you weren't invited but not surprised. You had always struggled to be a part of the group, they were your friends but you were not as close as they all were with each other. Just as you went to check your phone the doors beeped indicating that someone was there. "Great just when I thought I could take my break..." you thought putting on your happy service employee smile. "Hello, how may I help you today?" You said in a cheerful tone. "I'd just like to pay for gas. Thanks" the man said as he held up his card ready to pay. "Of course what pump were you at?" "Pump 2" After that you pulled up the cost and he paid. "Hey, have we met before you seem familiar?" He said looking at you.

It was true you looked different from high school.

Your hair was longer and your style had changed and truth be told the man standing in front of you was non other that Sal fisher. You were a bit upset he didn't recognise you considering you had a huge crush on him back in highschool but hey I guess you weren't truly important to him. "We probably went to high school together but I had changed since then...." you gave a small smile as he walks out the doors. After your shit had ended you noticed that Ash had tagged you in something on Instagram. Opening the app it was photos of you guys back in highschool with the caption "together in every lifetime <3". You didn't bother responding as you knew it was another empty post with no meaning. You unlocked your apartment door and went to your room and proceeded to sleep the rest of the night.

3rd person pov

Waking up to your ringtone was not something [f/n] was happy about. She answered the phone to be greeted with the sound of todd? That was new todd never rang her or even texted her after graduation.

[F/n]: "um hi todd?"

Todd: "Hello [f/n] Ashley has lost her phone so she asked me to call you" he said in a semi monotone voice

Ash: "hey todd did she pick up?"

Ash: "Oh! [f/n] I'm so glad you picked up!"

[F/n]: "it's not like I had a chose"

Ash: "well anyway how about me and you go out shopping in two hours!"

All [f/n] could think of is why now was she asking her to hang out? Also it's still the second semester of college there's not way she has time to shop before class and to make it worse [f/n] had work in half an hour.

[F/n]: sorry Ashley but I have work soon...

She didn't wait for a response and hung up the phone and deleted Todd's number.

2nd person pov

While at work sal came back into the gas station. "Excuse me but do you have any chips that aren't plain?" He asks walking up to the counter. "No sorry we've ran out" you replied ringing his items up. "Ah okay... just one last question?" "Sure..." you were already bored and your shift doesn't finish for another 4 hours.

"Is your name [f/n]?" Sal asked.

"Was it Ashley's post that helped you figure that out?" You said blankly staring at sal.

"Yeah! It's been a while since we spoke would you like to get coffee and catch up?" He stuttered out.

"Why does it sound like you're asking me out on a date?" You questioned praying it was not the answer you would never recover from......

Hallway Love [Part 2]

Sal x travis x m!reader

1st person POV

You had just got back from your weekly jog to find Sal and Travis sitting on your couch whispering to each other. It took a while for them to even realise that you and come back home. "So.. wanna tell me what you were whispering about?" You said raising your eyebrow. "Uhh, it's nothing!" Sal quickly said as he looked up at you. You took a moment to admire each one of the scars on his face before you said "You're beautiful..." Sal's face turned bright red as Travis scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Heh you're pretty cute too trav" you said winking at him, his face also turning bright red. You walk past the two blushing boys into your room where you change into a sweater and joggers before you can even walk out the door you hear a thump come from the living room. Rushing out you find Travis hanging off the arm of the sofa and Sal hysterically laughing.

"You going to explain what happened now?" You said letting out a sigh as you helped Travis up. Sal goes on to explain how he and Travis ended up in a small shoving contest only for Sal to shove Travis too hard causing him to fall over the arm of the sofa. "You're not hurt are you travis?" You asked Travis, sitting in between the two boys. "No..." he said slightly embarrassed. "Well, how about we watch a movie!" Sal suggested as he got up to pick out a movie from the selection of DVDs you had. You laid out a blanket and cocoons you and Travis into it. Once Sal had finished putting the movie on he wormed his way into the cocoon and snuggled against you putting his head on your shoulder. Travis on the other hand grabbed another blanket from behind the sofa and draped it over himself as he laid his head on your lap not too interested in the movie. 

After a while, Travis and Sal eventually fell asleep leaving you to carry them both to your bed as you settle to sleep on the couch. you turn off the movie and quickly get under the blankets before you can drift to sleep, Travis walks out of the room and drags you up. "What are you doing?" You asked half asleep. "You left us..." he said as he shoved you next to Sal and he got back into bed and under the covers leaning close to you. "If you wanted to cuddle you could have said so" you whispered and kissed Travis' forehead. You close your eyes and you feel two pairs of arms wrap around you and swiftly drift off to sleep.

heyyy!! saw ur poll about naming your gender neutral reader and i just wanted to let you know that its frowned upon with a decent chunk of the reader insert community!!!! at least most i have spoken to!!! that makes it, yk, not a reader insert anymore lol

to be a reader insert, you cant name the reader and stuff. thats gotta be done. By the Reader.

its cool to still write it, just maybe dont tag it as an x reader or whatever bc its not a reader insert, you would be making an x OC story :)

I'd do it again~ Todd Morrison x Neil

There aren't enough stories of these two 😭

Hanging from the altar of the devourers of god, Todd looked dazed fighting the possession of the red eyed demon. He had been there for what felt like an eternity until two more people were dragged into the main area. Todd had blacked out as the demon took control but once he regained consciousness he saw the two new people hanging from the roof and his heart dropped. Hanging there was Neil slowly losing all life he once had. “Neil… no…"Todd whispered and a tear ran down his face. “It's…gonna be okay…” Neil whispered back to him. Todd wishes more than anything that Neil wouldn't have been involved but here he was being strung from the roof dying for a clut he had nothing to do with Ashley, sal and larry had finally defeated the cult after years of trying Ashley quickly ran to todd and helped him out.

“Neil, we have to help him..” Todd panicked trying to stand up. “Todd he might not make it out of here…'' Ashley trailed off grabbing Neil down from the ceiling. The two walked back to the house the gang once lived in, well plus Sal who was strangely possessing Ashley's arm? Todd shook his head not wanting to think of the logistics of the situation. They unlocked the door and placed Neil on the couch as Ashley went to get proper bandages to help Neil and try and help him recover. Todd sat down on the floor next to the couch holding his hand as he tried not to panic more. Neil gave Todd a small smile as if to say “I'll be alright.”. “Well this should help but he lost a lot of blood ... .so it may not heal "Ashley shared as she wrapped bandages around Neil's neck making sure no more blood would be lost. For days and nights Todd stayed with Neil and took care of him even though Neil tried protesting but Todd was having none of it.

It had been a few months since everything happened. Sal had been managing to stop the corruption between hopping worlds, Ashley had been helping around the house and taking care of gizmo, Neil has slowly gotten better and has been able to help Ashley and get back to a normal life. As for Todd he was still struggling to control the possession to his advantage. He was currently in the bathroom looking into the mirror at his permanent red eyes, Neil walked in and stood behind him laying his head on Todd's shoulder. “You still look beautiful to me…” he said, kissing Todd's cheek. “just reminds me of everything…” he turns to face Neil and looks into his eyes. “You almost died… we put you in danger..”

“I went with ash because I loved you too much to let you go and if that meant I had to die I would've” he said holding todd close to him.
