Praise Ye the Lord!
Thank God it's Friday! What a week it has been! Whether it's been more good than bad, whether it's been more bad than good, whether we've overcome, or whether we've fallen short again, God's mercy is as great as His love! Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is an everlasting testament to God's justice and love dwelling side-by-side. At sunset this Friday evening, let all of us who still have breath take time to praise our God.
One thing I’ve noticed is that some people think grace was given after the cross; however, grace had always existed even from Adam and Eve’s time. Grace is found throughout the entire Bible.
The covenant of grace was first made in Eden, and after sin entered in, there was given a promise that the seed of the woman should bruise the serpent’s head. This covenant offered grace for future obedience through faith in Christ, and promised eternal life even on the condition of breaking God’s law. This was their hope of salvation. This same covenant was renewed to Abraham in the promise, “In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.” Gen 22:18. Even though this covenant was made with Adam and renewed to Abraham, it could not be ratified until the death of Christ. It had existed by the promise of God, it had been accepted by faith; yet when ratified by Christ, it is called a “new covenant” because the blood by which it was sealed was shed after the blood of the first covenant.
When Paul spoke he didn’t speak of a new idea, he showed us the same promise that was given to Abraham, which was grace. “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” Gen 15:6. As Paul said “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” Rom 4:3, and also Gal 3:6. Paul goes into detail about how Abraham was accepted by faith. Paul never cancels out the law of God but explains how the law is in our hearts “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” Rom 10:8. Even though he’s taking us back to the Old Testament by quoting Deut 30:11-14. In another instance he said “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” Rom 4:6-7, he still quotes from the Old Testament “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.” Psalm 32:1-2. Paul explains how we are not able to keep the law on our own without grace. It was already made evident by the Israelites who failed miserably Heb 8:8. Paul speaks of having obedience through grace, when we first have faith. Rom 1:5, 3:31, 6:15,16, 16:26, 2Cor 10:6.

Read and re-read a verse and companion verses throughout the day or for days, if needed, until you've grasped a fuller understanding of what God is saying to you in His Word because Jesus "will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4).

Everyone who refuses to give himself to God, is under the power of Satan. They may speak of freedom, but they are still under bondage with Satan’s devices. Christ made a way to free us from sin; however, our God is not forceful and gives us freedom to choose, but we have to be willing to accept and obey what He commands, because the Spirit can not force us in the way, it can only guide us along the way. Only if we fully surrender our will to trust His, shall we receive freedom from sin. “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” Romans 6:22
“Be ye separate.”
We find true unity in Bible truth, humbly believing in our Heavenly Father and Jesus. “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17:17-21).
We must follow Jesus alone. Jesus is our only Shepherd, and He has not appointed anyone on earth to take His place. “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:16). “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock…. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand” (Matthew 7:24, 26). “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
We are chosen out of the world by Jesus. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:19).
We are called by God to leave non-Biblical teachings, non-Biblical worship days, and non-Biblical traditions. “Depart! Depart! Go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her, be clean, you who bear the vessels of the Lord” (Isaiah 52:11). “Flee from the midst of Babylon, and every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; He shall recompense her” (Jeremiah 51:6). “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues’” (Revelation 18:4).
Also prayerfully study 1 Peter 2:9 and 1 John 2:15-17.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:8-11).
“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you’” (Exodus 31:13).
“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water’” (Revelation 14:6-7).
As we begin a new Sabbath day on this Friday evening, may we draw nearer to God with our whole heart. He has promised we will seek Him and find Him when we search for Him with all of our heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4).
We are nearing the borders of Heaven, friends! The day of our Lord Jesus' coming is at hand, and Jesus is the only way to our Heavenly Father and Heaven (John 14:6). Is He coming this week, next month, or even this year? “No one knows the day or the hour, Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:42-44).
We don't know when Jesus will return, that's why He wants us to be ready now. That's why we need our reminders now. Are you ready?
May we invite Jesus into our hearts each day (Revelation 3:20). May we place every sin and burden at His feet each day (1 John 1:9; Matthew 11:28, 30). May we follow His example in doing our Heavenly Father's will each day (Matthew 11:29; Matthew 12:50). May we obey His commandments with a sincerely loving heart each day (John 14:15). And may we faithfully sound the alarm of His soon return each day (Joel 2:1).
Whatever you are going through this week so far, keep the promise and hope of Jesus' return in your heart, and be ready: “For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand.”
“Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:14
Hell was only made for Satan and his angels. Matt 25:41. However; there are so many people who are caught up in his devices called sin, which has caused hell to grow. Christ has given us a way out from being servants of sin, by accepting Him and allowing His Spirit to work in you the obedience needed for righteousness, but yet we continue to reject His refuge. The Gospel is not there to scare you, but to warn you of what’s to come, that you may get ready and be prepared to see Christ at His soon coming.
“.. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” Ezek 18:30-32.
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:6-7).
📅 The first Sabbath of 2026!
What a comfort to know the Bible Sabbath isn't only for one group of people! It's God's Sabbath, and God Himself set this seventh day aside at the end of Creation for everyone to be blessed (Genesis 1:26-Genesis 2:3; Mark 2:27-28). May these worship-filled hours of rest — from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset — deepen your love for our wonderful Savior, Jesus, and strengthen your reliance on Bible truth.

In these last days, our trust should be towards nothing, but God. There are so many versions of the Bible now, and I’m starting to believe it’s causing division. What is the true purpose of creating more and more translations when God already said He made the word plain to understand? (Prov 8:8-10 KJV)
Words and phrases have been changed thinking that it’s a necessity to be more plain, while in reality they’re mystifying that which is plain, due to their own traditions. God’s word as a whole, is a perfect chain, one portion linking into and explaining another. True seekers for truth will not err, for not only is the Word of God plain in declaring the way of life, but the Holy Spirit is given as a guide in understanding the way to life therein revealed. (John 14:26 KJV)
Thought for the Week Ahead!
Who are we choosing to be? Followers of God's commandments or followers of tradition, who are called hypocrites in Scripture?
"..., a hypocrite was a godless person who substituted human standards and desires for God's commandments. Thus when people scrupulously observed traditions that had the effect of countering God's command (Matt. 15:3-6, Mark 7:9-13) they become 'hypocrites' not because their actions were inconsistent, but because they consistently ignored God's will" ("So That's Why!" Bible, New King James Version, p. 1341).
Food for thought. Each day we make significant choices. Choose today whom you will serve (ref. Joshua 24:14-15). Will you choose to love Jesus with your whole heart and follow all of God's commandments (including observing the Biblical Seventh-day Sabbath)? Or will you choose to follow church-made, man-made traditions instead of God's commandments?
Let's make this important choice a matter of prayer this week.

The Lord’s Day is Sabbath(Saturday).
In Rev 1:10, when John said he was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, he was speaking of the sabbath. Let’s see how..
1.Some say Judgement Day is the Lord’s day. Due to 2Pet 3:10 “The day of the Lord..” This can’t be correct, because in Rev 1:10 John was in vision concerning the day of Judgment, he could not have had one on that day when judgement day is yet future. Does not add up.
2.Some say Sunday(first day of the week) is the Lord’s day. Till this very day we have yet to see proof of God expressing to us the first day of the week being exalted above the other six days of the week. John wrote the Gospel after he wrote the Revelation, and yet in that Gospel he calls the first day of the week, NOT Lord’s day, but simply “first day of the week”, as did Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Paul. If it was to be called the Lord’s day from the fact of Christ’s resurrection upon it, inspiration would doubtless have somewhere so informed us, however; we were given “For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.” Heb 4:8. So the first day of the week(Sunday) is in fact not the Lord’s day either.
3.Some say the seventh day Sabbath(Saturday) is the Lord’s day. Well let’s look at proof. 1. When God gave to man in the beginning six days of the week for labor, he expressly reserved the seventh day to himself, placed his blessing upon it, and claimed it as his holy day. Gen 2:1-3. 2. Moses on the sixth day of the week spoke “To morrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the Lord.” Ex 16:23. 3. God proclaimed His law of the fourth command being “The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.” Ex 20:10. 4. By the prophet Isaiah, God spoke “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on MY holy day, ... then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord,” etc.. Isa 58:13. 5. ”For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.” Matt 12:8. In conclusion, we can clearly see that the seventh day sabbath(Saturday) is indeed considered the Lord’s Day.
