Moving on is a curious thing. You can love someone new so furiously, but seeing a photograph or reading an old poem can bring back something you thought was dead and buried a long time ago. Looking back now, I fooled myself into believing you felt anything close to love for me. I don’t miss that time in my life. I was lost, and I was helpless. I have been saved, and it’s with no thanks to you. You broke my heart every damn day. You let me believe I was worthless, nothing more than a body. You made me fall in love with you with no intention of loving me back. I haven’t seen you in months. I like it this way.
I needed to write this to remember how awful you were, and how blessed I am now. (via fallinlovewithapoet)

“This dog just appeared out of nowhere and followed us for an entire week during our trekking trip in the Himalayan outback…When I decided to get up at 4 a.m. to climb the next 5000 m peak…he accompanied me as well. On the top he was sitting for the entire 30 minutes on this place”

You can learn a lot from a dog!
Communicate. Even when it’s uncomfortable or uneasy. One of the best ways to heal, is simply getting everything out.
