I’m so happy with this episode, like, I’m in love with pretty much the entire red team and Grimmons is honestly one of my favourite ships to date, so I’m really really glad Joe decided it was their time to shine (tho I must admit I’m a bit disappointed on how Tucker was treated, considering The Chorus trilogy and Felix were a thing that happened).
And Grif, oh my god Grif, I don’t even know what I want exactly to happen. My only guess is that the relationship between him and Simmons will change by the end of this season, because it is being teased so, so much. I’d love if it hints a bit of a romance between the two, buuut I ain’t getting my hopes up just yet, so my guess is that they will “respect” each other some more and then that’ll keep developing during the course of this arc?? does that make sense???
Oh and there’s also Locus
I wasn’t a big fan of Locus’ development during the chorus trilogy. I mean, I liked his character and I enjoyed watching it, but it just didn’t click for me (I think they focused a lot of Felix being an asshole and not so much on Locus’ actual response to that, idk)
I’m totally up for a redemption arc tho, however, I think it’ll be difficult to pull of.
Personally, I’d like to see him earning it, I want to see how much he’s grown on his own, what has changed, I want to see he can be redeemed, but I don’t think he should be just yet.
I also think Lopez is very happy he finally has someone who understands him apart from all spanish speaking viewers like myself
Those were overall my feelings on this episode, I really loved it! Re watched it a bunch
