update to say i am so happy for my mums for getting married i laid these bricks five years ago

had a dream about sam and kristie last night in the year of our lord 2025 so i just wanted to inform you all that the brainrot never stops xx

sam kerr found not guilty everyone cheered

The absolute horrendous and ridiculous trial, has had its amusing moments. But there is no denying the ugliness from the certain factions of the media (Sam should never ever do any media requests with specific media outlets). They are feeding into the fears that the majority are being victimised by minority groups. This is how hatred wins, this is how humans lose their empathy and humanity. England voted for Brexit based on fear. Praying for a miracle Sam gets a fair jury. Support her always.

sorry i'm a bit late to this (i think my inbox is a bit broken) but 100%. its terrifying to think how these laws which were set up to protect minority groups from hate crimes and aggravation can be exploited by the powerful and privileged. i'm so glad now that she's been found not* guilty because it would be a scary precedent to set, but i fear it's already been set regardless since the case was even allowed to go to trial. after all sam and kristie have gone through as has been revealed through the trial i hope they take all the rest they need, because rehashing that trauma (especially at 6 months pregnant for kristie) has got to take a significant toll. the system has failed them (or worked exactly as intended, however you choose to view it)
