Visit familiar neighborhoods on a planned route. Use sidewalks and crosswalks. Look both ways. -Costumes and masks should not inhibit vision or movement and all trick or treaters should be well equipped with glowsticks, reflective gear, and flashlights.
-Only visit houses with well-light porches and never go into any stranger’s house -Adults should inspects goodies before the kids start a-goblin’ -And drivers should pay extra special attention for little ghosts, vampires, mummies, and the like in their neighborhoods.
And if you hit the witches’ brew, make sure you have a designated driver to get you back to castle safely.

August 4th Update
Hello fellow Valdostans! Saturday marked the official commencement of our fundraising campaign to raise $15,000 to get up and running by Summer 2016. We started the day with a yard sale at WSNK headquarters stocked completely by local donations from members of the Valdosta community. On Saturday night, we held our first of what we intend to be a monthly series of benefit concerts at Ashley Street Station. Thanks to Bryan's generosity with donating the door charge to us, as well as the enthusiastic attendance of community members, we were able to raise $450 dollars at the concert, in addition to the $135 we raised with the yard sale. We never imagined that in our first day of fundraising we would raise almost $600, but with your support we have gotten off to a great start in putting WSNK 103.5 FM on the air. Next, we will be yardsaling at Remerton's "Big, Big Yard Sale" on this Saturday, August 8th. We welcome all donations, which are tax deductible, and can make arrangements to pick items up so feel free to contact us if you have anything that you'd like to contribute to this or any future yard sales. We will also have a table set up at Wake Up Fest 2015 on August 14th/15th, located at the Valdosta Wake Compound off Exit 13 toward Wild Adventures. We expect hundreds of people to attend this massive two-day festival, so come on out and have some fun in the sun with WSNK and friends! As always we appreciate any and all support and encourage anyone who may be interested to contact us for information on how to volunteer, contribute, or participate. Thanks and we'll see you all very soon!
July 27th Update
This week we held our first public forum at Red Door Records on July 14th. The goal of the session was to gather input from the community on the station. We talked about a shared vision for radio and what kind of programming we'd like to see. We appreciate everyone who came out to the forum!
August 1st will be our first fundraising day with a morning yardsale at Snake Nation Press located at 110. West Force Street in Valdosta, GA.
Also on August 1st check out some of our talented organizers at Ashley Street Station. JJ Rolle, Johnathan Coody, West Virginia Slims and SIN will be performing, doors open at 9pm.
