Petals || Rory & Caspian

Rory finished laying the bed with dark red roses and sighed heavily. “Done” the boy murmured to himself, sending a quick text to his boyfriend, asking him to come over. With everything that had been going on in the boy’s life, he had barely any time to do anything, especially have time with Caspian, which was the thing he missed most. Looking around his white, pale room, he sat down on the edge of the bed, his mind wandering to things that he could do to make it even more romantic.

By the time Rory heard a knock at the door, there was a trail of rose petals straight from his front door to his bedroom. He also had bought a single rose for the boy, starting to worry as if he went too over the top. He swung the wooden door open with a wide grin painted across his face, “Hey babe, uh, I kinda went a little over the top but I got you this rose and I did what you said” the boy said, handing him the bright red rose before stepping aside so Caspian could come inside.

When the smell of roses invaded his senses, Caspian couldn't help but let out a dreamy sigh before pulling the elder boy into a tight hug, muttering into his shoulder before a smile spread out on his pierced lips. "You did the flower petal thing." He pulled back to examine the room, eyes widening at the dark petals that brought such a delicious contrast to the pale white of the bedsheets. "Gorgeous," he murmured before looping his arms round the elder's waist, eyebrow perking.

"Stay right here." Cas waved a finger at the elder before he darted away, dashing down the hall and back to his bedroom for a moment. Into a bag he threw a few tealight candles and a small lighter before his long legs started leaping forwards again, sprinting back to his boyfriend's room with a blush forming on his cheeks. "Got.. candles," he panted, leaning forward to catch a breath he so desperately needed before glancing up.
