“Isn’t cheerleading supposed to be fun on its own? I thought that was why the girls always look so happy.”

You can highly doubt it all you want, Mister, but I know ways!! As long as I’m involved, you’re not purposely getting yourself injured – no matter how much you want to be benched – because that’s just daft!!

I can’t fault you for trying! Oh, I’m so sorry – if there is anything I can do to help, let me know… I’m sure I could come up with something to make things a little easier for you – fifty push-ups for being five minutes late is rough.

“As much as I appreciate the offer, I highly doubt there’s any other way things could get easier. An injury means I can’t do a lot of things and I’d be benched.”
