I really wanted to enjoy The Odyssey, because I love Christopher Nolan and I appreciate that he's one of the few directors that explores new concepts...but a lot of it was really fucking cringey?? The dialogue for one, and there was A LOT of overacting, and some of the casting choices were just odd. Tom Holland gave NPC vibes, Mia Goth brought nothing to the table as usual, and John Bernthal is cool and all....but every time he opened his mouth I was transported to "Wolf of Wallstreet". And why the hell was Travis Scott in the movie? 😂 It was also the first Nolan film I left thinking "that needed to be shorter"
