The more she complimented her, the more Undyne felt her face heat up. “I don’t know many cities. I was hatched underground so this is all kinda NEW to me. I don’t know where that is, but that DOESN’T mean it’s not here!” Clasping her hands together, her eye began to shine in glee, “YEAH! I watched his ONE anime about a girl who could travel BACK IN TIME with a well! And she met a dog guy and found out she was a reincarnated PRIESTESS!” Undyne didn’t really understand what a priestess or even reincarnation was but  that wasn’t important! “Of course! I mean, my.. ‘girlfriend’ isn’t here to watch them with me so I could use an ANIME BUDDY!”

“Hatched underground?” Misty felt her nose crinkle at the thought of being hatched for one thing, but underground for another. “How the heck were you hatched underground?” She questioned, genuinely confused. “I guess that makes sense, but...I haven’t seen anything from the area I’m from. I’m not really sure where it’s even located.” She admitted a bit sheepishly before shaking her head. “Woah...that’s crazy! I can’t believe it’s all real!” Misty’s eyes went wide, glimmering with excitement. “Well, I guess that sounds okay to me! Besides, I’ve never even heard of anime so I guess the first time I watch it should be with an expert, right?”

Chances are I have no clue where the place y’er from is. ” He shrugged his shoulders. “ Hey, it may be fake here, but it’s real where I come from, ” Vav told her with a point of his finger. Misty practically screaming made him smile a half-smile, one that was both amused and a little offended. “ The Mad King is my arch nemesis. Every superhero’s got one. ” He said it as if it was common knowledge, and it sort of was, at least for people like him.“ I’ve got quite a few powers. The big one’s my ability t’ create a ripple in time to send things int’ slow-motion for a few moments. But I’ve also got increased strength, stamina, I can run a bit faster, jump a little higher. The works. ” All thanks to Miss Hilda and his suit. 

Crossing her arms over chest, Misty sighed out heavily. As much as she hated to admit it, she knew he was right. “I...guess so.” She finally admitted, though her voice was so low it was almost a mumble. “I’m gonna go out on a limb and say a lot of things are real where you come from but aren’t real here.” The petite redhead raised her eyebrows as she spoke, still feeling a bit skeptical of his whole...situation. “Well, what did he do to make himself your arch nemesis, then?” She questioned, humoring him as she tried to figure out exactly how crazy he was. “No offense or anything, but those don’t seem like the world’s greatest superpowers. They seem pretty, well, basic actually.”

Emily jumped a little at the woman’s loud voice. “Please! Shush…” Who was Victor to her? Her husband? No, he was never her’s. It wasn’t real. “He’s my friend. I did wake up here, yes. Last thing I remember… I was telling Victor to marry the woman he loved and then… Here I am.” Emily smiled, nodding. “I guess I’m not used to holding things back.”

Taken aback by being shushed, Misty crossed her arms over her chest grumpily. Normally she would have called her out, but decided to let it slide this time. “Wait, I’m confused. Were you going to marry Victor? ‘Cause that’s sure what it sounds like, lady.” Misty raised her eyebrows. “Yeah, well, welcome to the 21st Century. People don’t like hearing all of the weird little details. Er, no offense.”

Emily cleared her throat before mumbling. “The late 1800′s.” She knew nothing about any of this era, nor did she really know the date. She’d been dead for so long back then, she only really had a small idea. Emily looked up with a shrug. “I don’t know. Victor helped me set my soul free… Then the next thing I know, I’m here.” She cringed a little. “I’m sorry, I didn’t really think…”

“The what?!” Misty practically screamed, not realizing that maybe this woman wouldn’t want attention like that drawn to her. “Who’s Victor and - wait. Did you wake up here for literally no reason, too?” Misty suddenly questioned, eyes wide. A light blush crawling on her cheeks she didn’t realize that maybe her reaction was a little too...intense. “No, it’s okay! Don’t be sorry.” She protested.

Emily smiled as she looked down at her wedding dress. “I don’t know what to wear in this time. I don’t really have the money to go shopping for anything else either.” She mused before laughing quietly. “I did die. My… Well, my fiancee killed me to get my money. It was pretty horrible but I made a lot of friends in the afterlife. Although I think it was more in between.” The corpse bride grinned and nodded. “It is a little abnormal but there is nothing wrong with that. I had a maggot living in my head, he’d pop my eye out when he wanted to see things. I lived with skeletons for a while so it’s okay!” Emily spoke, not seeing anything wrong with it. Not knowing how strange it was. 

“In this time? What time are you from?” Misty questioned, a puzzled look on her face. She didn’t exactly fit in, either - most of her clothes had a sort of 90′s aesthetic vibe to them. But this lady was on another level. “Wait, then how are you here? That’s...horrible, though! That he killed you for your money, I mean...” she trailed off still trying to get this all through her head. Trying to not let it get to her, Misty sighed out, shaking her head. “Ewww!” She called out at the thought of maggots - bugs in general were a big no from her. “That’s disgusting!!”

“You’re a beautiful woman, too! If a touch over dressed.” Misty grinned, teasing the woman she’d just met. “Wait - what?!” The petite redhead felt her eyes go wide for a moment. “What do you mean you were dead?” Trying to get this through her head, but was distracted by the compliment as a small blush crept onto her cheeks. “Rude?! Please, you can call me beautiful all you want.” Misty smiled once the blush passed. Instinctively her hand went back to her bright red hair pulled in a right ponytail. “Thanks! It’s pretty abnormal, so I’m glad ya like it!”
