hopefully this isnt too much of an intrusive question but did yall always know you were plural or was it a lot of backwards figuring stuff out for your timeline? and also i love the diff animals you used as sonas/gen never saw a pillbug sona before

not intrusive at all, dw! we love answering questions. our first host (the pillbug! we’re glad you like them; we looove unique animal sonas and the world needs more of them) knew we were plural from about age 10-11 and had very good system communication. unfortunately though, they split and are no longer around, so it was a bit of working backwards through fading memories in order to sort things out.

our high school host, bee, knew that viper existed at the very least, but didn’t know what that could mean. syscovery helped us catalog things much more accurately, hence why there’s a stronger concentration of alters present on the timeline. like we said, we’re certain we missed some in those early days, but this is the best archive we can come up with in our current state :)

our system timeline. hugely inspired by alteredpanel of course. we’re sure we’re missing a few alters in the early years just due to them going dormant and being pre-awareness meaning there’s little left of them tangibly, but they were certainly there. good exercise that required a lot of working together and headaches lol
