- current mood: soft girls softly being soft… also tsuyu having big hands
when i was little and my parents were driving id pretend there was a man/being/thing running alongside the car who had to follow certain rules like “he can only travel by jumping from streetlight to streetlight” or “he can only walk on fences”
i was so surprised to find out that other people did similar things
i wonder what the underlying psychology behind it is
like its a really specific thing to do but almost everyone did it without telling other kids about it because we all thought it was probably weird or unimportant
this would make a good creepypasta
It already is an urban legend, quite an old one too, from the 1800’s. OP pretty much described Spring-heeled Jack, I’d wager that they made up the story based on it. Drawing is more a contemporary scary than his original description though.
But that’s not really the underlying spookiness of the story. A guy that can jump a lot isn’t scary, the idea that so many kids imagined this sort of thing, some sort of creature running alongside a car with similar rules is the unnerving part.
i mean, it was never scary to imagine it as kids. usually i imagined some sort of cat weaving through the oncoming cars or running along the fences, but i don’t remember any other kid telling me about it i just started imagining it one day out of boredom. then it just stopped when i grew up, and i hear about so many other people saying the same things. why is it so similar for so many kids? that’s what i find spooky, not so much the idea of the “monster” itself.
OP didn’t make up the story based on spring heeled jack, they drew something that they legit imagined as a kid, and for some reason so did everyone else
Self-doubt Headcanon #3. Same Korra, same.

Pharah Body Type Rant
For everyone who yells at others saying
“Pharah doesn’t have muscles in Reflections.”
“She isn’t drawn that way in the comic.”
“We know how she looks out of armor, don’t draw her that way.”
