Team 12 Genin Photo!!

AKA the party from my first Naruto TTRPG campaign I played like 4 years ago that we called Konoha: Reach for the Stars!

In the pic we’ve got:

- Up top, Shiryoku Hyuuga sensei, local Maito Gai enthusiast and Hiashi’s most insistent thorn in his side. (Played by the GM)

- The one on the left getting absolutely gripped is Yuri Kagame, Suna refuge and queen of overly complex and ultimately convoluted pranks (played by me :))

- The one holding the dog like a burger while giving the lead paint stare is the mad dog mad scientist himself Akuma Inuzuka with his ninken Aoimaru (played by my lil bro)

- On the right thinking she’s slick is Ginha Senju, leader of the Sasuke’s Haters Club and Tsunade’s favourite only niece (played by an old friend)

I was feeling nostalgic so I had to draw them. I’m currently playing a campaign that takes place with Shiryoku’s generation and the GM keeps adding easter eggs that foreshadow the old campaign so blame him.

It never fails to sadden me when I think of a young Kakashi, not even old enough to drive by our standards, being forced by his own circumstances and upbringing into the position of a ruthless assassin. A position where he was constantly mocked and ridiculed for the exact opposite of the things his own father was mocked and ridiculed for, a constant reminder of his father’s suicide. Never able to truly be with his father or teammates but their ghosts always following.
