To burn a witch was a political act. They burned someone who knew too much, who saw too much and maybe even has lifted too many times the skirt for the wrong person. Out of fear they burned a witch. People were superstitious and stupid. The lack of education let them made a witchhunt.

Burning a witch was not the fear of magick itself, but the fear of powerful women. In most cases anyway. The seldom, who knew about magic(k),kept quiet and i tell you one thing… they still do. Because nothing has changed.
