“I never want to get rid of you, Will. I just fear that I’m not good enough for you. I never want to hurt you…” Dani leaned forward and kissed Will’s temple as he moved in to hug him tighter. He took another breath. “I will never not need or want you, Will.”

Will easily wrapped his arms around the smaller boy, pulling him closer until he was in his lap. “Don’t worry about silly things, okay? Right now, we have to grab a few of your things from home to make your move official.” Even though the boy had other relationships, he still never failed to make Will feel special. After all, he was moving in with him. “You make me feel special..”

“I don’t think I could ever work with college students. Much too precocious for me to be able to handle. But I guess it’s good you found a way to do something you love”

“Yeah It’s a lot tougher than most would think.” Will chuckled, shrugging his shoulders a moment later. “You would think that college students act mature and can handle sixty minutes of a lesson. Yet, I find that most often they’re more immature than that of five year olds.”

“Of course I trust you, Will. There’s never a doubt of that. My fear is you say this is okay, you say you can handle this but what happens when I bring someone over and we have sex then lay in bed afterwards talking and laughing? What happens when you hear it and jealousy riles through you? What happens if I invite you to keep company with us but you don’t like him?” Dani bit his bottom lip before he lifted his hands and ran them through his hair. He knew where he stood on all of this but he would never want to cause this kind of pain to Will or Cal or any others he might have potential for. Dani knew he couldn’t help who he fell for but that didn’t mean who he fell for could handle the way Dani was. That wasn’t fair to them. “I love you. So fucking much. But is that enough for you?”

He heard what he was saying pretty loud and clear, nodding his head in response. “I’ll get used to it.” Will assured, running his fingers through Dani’s hair. “I don’t want others, I only want you. Maybe the way you feel I don’t yet understand but that doesn’t mean I don’t support and love you no matter what.” Will wouldn’t leave Dani, even if the other boy thought he should. “You are stuck with me, get it? You can’t get rid of me that easily.”

“Whatever you are drinking, put it on my tab. Trying to do my good deed for the day but I’ve left it to a pretty late hour.”

“Well, I mean if you insist.” Will shrugged, downing the shot of Jameson that he had asked for. “Just trying to relax after a day with the college students. I love them but sometimes you just need to get your mind away from work.”

“You’re a one and done type, aren’t you?” He smiled but there was fear in his words. The more he thought about it, the more he started to realize that Will was too good for him. His insecurities rose and mixed with fear and anxiety. “I admit, Will… I don’t understand why you want me or how you say I’m perfect for you. I don’t seem your type and that terrifies me.”

“Hey..” he murmured, noticing that he was second guessing what was happening between the two of them. “You may see things differently than I do but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t a good pair.” Leaning in, he placed gentle kisses down the boys neck. “I’m definitely coming around to the idea of others having you as well. I want you to be happy, that’s all I want baby. Can you trust in me, trust in us?”

“That sounds like you.” Dani smiled and motioned Will to the couch. As they sat, Dani pulled Will to lay on his lap and his hands ran through his hair, soothing him the best he was able. “It’s okay, also, you know? It’s okay to talk about your old lovers. I’m not saying he was but they were people that once made you happy. It’s okay to think of them or talk of them on occasion. And it makes me curious the type you went after.” He attempted to joke with him but it was lighthearted.

William chuckled, shaking his head in response. He only had one ex boyfriend and it didn’t work out in the long run. “I have one ex, only one. They were not bad, no where near as great as you are.” Reaching up, he ran his fingers through Dani’s hair as well. “You’re perfect for me.”

“Will… You’ve…” Dani lifted his hands and helped him wipe his eyes. He had a rather strong grip on his cheeks, however and kept his head still so he was forced to look at him. “You have to let that go. That was not and never will be, your fault. I… I had no idea you were dealing with something like this…” Dani frowned and once more pulled him closer. He held Will, refusing to let him pull away. “..Tell me about him. Was he a lover?”

“No of course not.” Will shook his head, having never seen the other boy that way. “He was just a really good friend, always there to give the shirt off his back.” The boys friend was the life of the party, one of the easiest people to get along with. “He’d light up a dark room, he just had a way with words that made people around him feel safe and secure.”

Dani was taken back when he heard his words. Killed? “They?” He asked, his hand lifted to brush through Will’s hair. He soothed him as best as he was able but still shocked at his words. “They who?” Dani bit his bottom lip and attempted to understand further. “Surely it’s not your fault, Will. You can’t be with people all the time and who’s to say that you also wouldn’t have been killed? Have you… Have you been blaming yourself for this?”

“His brother and the girl he was dating.” WIll murmured, looking down at the floor. “He suspected that his girlfriend was cheating with his brother and was correct. Confront them- didn’t go well.” Looking back up at him, he nodded his head in response. “If I was there I could’ve done something. I don’t want to go through that with you.. I don’t want to feel like if I was there things would’ve been different.” Sniffling softly, he brought his hands up to wipe at his eyes. “At least keep me updated on where you’re at and that you’re safe.”

Dani looked at him with a confused glance but licked his bottom lip and gave a nod. “I have to make sure he’s comfortable with it but if he is, alright.” It was possible Cal wouldn’t be interested in meeting or being in Will’s place, honestly Dani wasn’t sure yet. They hadn’t talked about it yet. “What happened, Will?” He asked, reading the uncertainty off his body language. “What has you freaked?”

“I don’t like the idea of you being somewhere where I can’t protect you.” Will murmured, keeping his arms wrapped tightly around his boy. “My best friend in the past.. I couldn’t protect him because I wasn’t with him. He was- they killed him.” Biting his bottom lip, tears formed in his eyes before burying his face into Dani’s neck. “Don’t be somewhere where I can’t protect you.. stay close.”

“The majority of nights, definitely.” He answered back, once more lifting his hand to hold onto Will’s as it cupped his cheek. “I’m glad I make you happy, truly I am.” He offered a smile and moved forward to hug him. His arms wrapped around Will’s waist and he buried his head against his shoulder. “Something else to ask then would be, would you want me to bring Cal here or my apartment?”

Will hadn’t thought quite that far, chewing at his bottom lip. “You can bring him here.” he finally decided, nodding his head in an agreeable manner. “I’d rather have you somewhere safe, where I know where you are.” Will didn’t trust people easily, having experienced some trauma in the past. “Bring all of them here..okay?”

“Is that really what you want, Will?” Dani asked again, this time a bit more soft but he bit his bottom lip, a little worried about his reactions. He felt as if he was being selfish the more he realized Will’s stances on things. He felt as if he were causing him pain from his decisions and needs, from the connections he’d made with others as well. Yet Will would only look at him and it was terrifying. The expectations Dani assumed fell on his shoulders terrified him. “I’m hurting you, aren’t I?”

Will looked up at him as he heard his questioning. He still hadn’t quite gotten used to sharing, yet he knew he would adjust with time. “Baby..” he murmured, cupping his cheek once more. “You make me happier than I’ve ever been, understand? I want you to be happy, that’s all I want.” Leaning in, Will pecked the boys lips gently before pulling back. “I don’t mind sharing you, okay? You’re coming home to me at the end of the night, right?”

“I wasn’t, uhm… Expecting that.” He admitted with a nervous laugh but he pulled away so he could turn and look at Will. “I want to move in, Will but I also want to keep my own space. Therefore if I do move in, I also am going to keep my apartment. I love you and I want to be with you, but I have never been good at living with anyone. I’m not sure why but shit just happens and my roommates leave. Having my own space has been kind of a sanctuary. I don’t think anything bad would happen or that I’ll break up with you but just in case anything did happen, a fight, another lover (yours or mine), having a space of my own is important to me. Is that something you’ll be okay with?”

Will knew the boy would need his space, so he nodded his head a moment later. “You can keep your own space, I have no issue with that.” Smirking softly, he shook his head. “The only lover I will ever have is you baby. You can have whoever you want, I just don’t want anyone else.” Sighing in content, he ran his hands along the boys waist and brushed his thumb along his hip bone. “So we could go collect some of your things later? That way it feels more like home.”

Dani relaxed with Will’s arms around him and closed his eyes with the feel of his heat against his back. Lifting the glass to his lips he took a couple sips before the proposal was made. With a look of curiosity, he turned his head to look at Will and wasn’t sure what to say. “Do you mean stay over more times a week or move in?”

“Move in.” he responded easily, though admittedly was quite nervous about what his response would be. “I want you around everyday. I know you’ll have other people to see as well and that’s okay but- I want your main residency to be with me.” Will had waited so long to be able to do things like this, he didn’t want to give up now. “I waited so long to be able to do this.. will you move in with me baby?”

“I know you’re busy, Will and that’s okay. Don’t feel guilty about living your life.” Dani smiled as his hand lifted to take the hands on his cheeks. He took a breath as he turned his head to kiss one of Will’s palms before lacing his fingers through his hair. “Do you need help grading anything? I was kind of an epic TA if you remember correctly.” Dani teased with a shake of his head before he pulled away from him to walk to the kitchen. He got out two wine glasses and poured them both a drink after opening the bottle.”

Will followed after him easily, wrapping both his arms around Dani’s waist. He couldn’t help himself around the other, finding it hard to keep his hands to himself. “I wouldn’t mind having the best assistant around back to help.” Leaning forward, he rested his head onto the boys shoulder. “I was thinking.. maybe we could talk about you staying with me on a more permanent basis.”

He hugged him back with as much enthusiasm, a laugh matched with his smile as his arms wrapped around his shoulders. Once inside, Dani pulled away only slightly to look at him before he leaned in and kissed him long and hard, his hand upon his cheek as his other curled through his hair. “So do you.” He responded between kisses, licking his bottom lip to taste him. “I am starving.” He admitted with another laugh before he finally pulled away to look up at him. “How are you doing, Will? How are classes? Tell me about your day.”

Will panted gently as he pulled away from the kiss, beginning to trail kisses down the boys neck once more. “Mm, classes are okay. It’s boring without having you in my class, you made it much more interesting.” Cupping his cheek in his hand, he traced his thumb across his cheek. “How are you doing baby, I know it’s been a bit since we’ve seen each other.” He felt guilty that it had been as long as it had, licking across his bottom lip. “It’s the end of the semester almost, which has left me swamped with assignment grading. It won’t happen again, I can’t go this long without my favorite boy.”

Dani showed up at Will’s place dressed simply in a t-shirt and jeans. He had wine in hand and bought some whipped cream as a joke but he would totally use it tonight. He smiled warmly as soon as he saw Will when he opened the door. “Hey babe.”

Will had put the baked ziti in the oven before he heard the knock at the door. Once the door was opened, he easily wrapped both his arms around the other male before pulling him inside. “You look so good.” he murmured, leaning in to nip roughly at the exposed skin on his neck. “I may want to skip right to dessert. I want to make sure you eat first though.”
