After that, I did my chores, washed my clothes, cleaned my place and everything.” Claudius let out a huff as he looked at Courtney and rolled his eyes but he had a grin on his face so the mood wasn’t as serious. “Don’t worry, darling, I’m not struggling anymore. Not now, when I have a gracious enough paycheck.”

Courtney chuckled because even though Claudius huffed he could tell from the grin that it was all fun and games, “You are such a drama queen” he laughed finishing his pizza and turning so that he could face the man more. “Okay good, but you know if you ever are I can help you out” he pointed out to the older man, moving a hand up to give his cheek a light stroke. “Got any plans or am I good to crash here tonight, my legs are dead from the gym and I don’t feel like walking home.”

Claudius didn’t mind the closeness of the other man to him; he just changed his position just so Courtney would be more comfortable against him. He was already eating his second slice of pizza, only slowing down because he wanted to wait for the other man to eat. “No, it’s my day off so I slept half the day, did chores, and I rewarded myself with some pizza. I’m not always a bum; I can’t afford to be a bum, Court.”

Courtney did feel comfortable against Claudius and gave him a smile before he took another bite. “When you say you did chores, making your bed just so you can get back into it to sleep more does not count” he pointed out with a teasing grin. “Don’t worry I know you ain’t a bum and you need to make the most of your days off” he nodded as he finished his slice and leaned back a little more into the man. “You’re not struggling with money again are you Claud?”

Claudius was lounging on his couch with the pizza box already spread out on the table in front of him. “Hey, I’m already providing the pizza, I’m not going to feed you myself.” The older man replied with a small chuckle instead of a greeting. “Get yourself comfortable, there’s also drinks inside the fridge because I didn’t know what you would like.”

Courtney chuckled and headed to grab himself a drink from the fridge before moving over to the couch to join the man. He did just as suggested and made himself comfortable pressed close to the older man as he grabbed a slice and began to eat. Thankfully he had showered at the gym so he smelt nice and fresh. “Fuck that’s good pizza” he breathed as he finished his slice and then put all his attention onto Claudius, “Please tell me this is not how you’ve spent your entire day.”

Courtney arrived at the man’s door and found it open since he had pre-warned he was closed with the text message. “I’m here, you big goof, now feed me my pizza dammit” he chuckled, freshly showered from the gym and feeling energised. He dropped his bag at the side of the door and made his way over to Claudius.

Courtney had decided to take a day off from the house hunting and try out some of the local leisure facilities, of course his first spot had been the spa and bath house which he was already enjoying very much. He had decided to give the hot tubs a quick test before he finished up and spotted another man in one so decided to join. Lowering himself into the hot water he looked over the guy, he looked young, with a somewhat familiar face, smooth cheeks and that slightly damp brown hair. “Hope you don’t mind if I join you?” Although he had no intention of getting out again.

“Too quiet huh?” Courtney said with a raised eyebrow as the other man leaned in a bit, “I mean, sometimes quiet is good right? But I see what you mean about maybe being too quiet. Maybe if I move in I can make some noise for you” he joked.

Finch always grinned when Iain called him his little bird– it was a unique nickname. It was the same reaction he had when Stanley called him cherub. He smiled softly at Iain and then kissed back, gentle and soft, and it was just very sweet but it definitely wasn’t enough for him. Even if he could pout and get what he wanted from the two, he thought that maybe it was enough and that he really shouldn’t overdo it. “Hey! I came here to have fun, why am I being attacked?” The smallest man exclaimed and scrunched up his features like he was angry at the other two, but he really wasn’t. Iain shifted awkwardly as he felt something press against his leg. There were only a few options for what it could be and he wasn’t sure how to react. He had to lean back against the couch for Stanley to kiss Finch and was very in the way for the soft ‘I love you’ that the two shared. It made him feel weird, and he didn’t know if he liked it. Before he could say much, Stanley was kissing him too. Suddenly, he felt very in the way. “I’m going to get some water,” he mumbled, sliding out from between the pair and standing up. “Need anything?” It would give him a moment to consider what he was doing and if he actually fit in here. Now, he was a little in his own head and it wasn’t great. “I’m just,” he pointed over his shoulder before scurrying off to the kitchen. He did grab a water while he was in there, but he was mostly just taking a moment.

Stanley frowned as Iain suddenly slid out from between them just after he had kissed him and watched him stand up. “Are you okay babe?” he asked, eyes full of concern and compassion as he scurried off to the kitchen. Stan turned to Finch and signed, “Do you know what’s up?” and squeezing his boyfriend’s leg a little. Then he stood up and made his way towards the kitchen as well. “Iain? What’s wrong? Did you not want to cuddle and kiss? We don’t have to do that if it makes you uncomfortable.” he explained as he walked in to find Iain in the kitchen.
