Still, Lazarus was correct in that if Perospero continued to move as he was, the art his lover wanted to create would be ruined. Though, he didn't expect it to stay beautiful for too long, Lazarus still deserved his canvas. Perospero didn't want to ruin the opportunity he had created for himself, to have Lazarus fuck into him until he was spent, sore and bruised into oblivion.

His chest rose in a pant as Lazarus dragged his fingers over his flesh, just narrowly avoiding the place Perospero was desperately wanting to feel his partner's fingers against him. Hips rose again, just slightly, but Perospero chuckled. It was clear Lazarus was affected by his desperation, even as he dragged the brush across Perospero's skin. He itched to reach out, running his fingers over Lazarus' clothed cock until he couldn't help himself.

For now, he wasnt going to break the tension and instead continued to luxuriate in making Perospero squirm for him.

It certainly gave him a rush to be the one to dictate this encounter, biting down on a smile for the way his lover's voice pitched higher to acquiesce to his last direction. "Good boy," he all but purred, relishing in the role reversal and trying not to chortle with delight. Lazarus briefly clasps his paintbrush in his teeth, freeing his left hand to retrieve the small bottle of lubricant he'd tucked in his pocket earlier.

"You'll get what you want sooner or later, dont worry," he soothed, trickling warm lube onto Perospero's erection, spreading the slick with pumps of his hand. Now with no fear of causing uncomfortable friction, Lazarus tucks the bottle aside to regain his paintbrush. So, he is silent for several seconds after Evanidus diverts the topic.

"He is devoted," the artist finally starts, "to his family, to his responsibilities. He cares for the citizens of Totto Land, in a way that one does not always see in leaders of countries." Although he tries to keep a neutral tone, there's a kind of softness under the words.

"Sometimes I worry he puts the needs of his siblings ahead of his own wellbeing."

In the not too distant past, it had sort of become a joke how often Asahiko mistook the arrival of ships on his home island to be his father returning from sailing the wider Grand Line for weeks on end. Now though, of course, he knew far better the familiar dragon-shaped figurehead of the Red Force and the scarred, red-haired head of Shanks from a distance. At ten, he was allowed to accompany his mother far beyond the familiar waters of Seastar Island and into new, exciting places.

Where ever they are now, well, he couldnt remember because spying a flash of vibrant red hair had distracted him instantly. Small sunset wings fluttering as he hurried away from his mother's shadow to the figure, heart pounding with excitement that it was his dad. Which he hadnt been told they'd be meeting him here, so maybe it was a surprise? Somehow scrambling just a few feet ahead to interrupt the other's path-

Except it wasnt Shanks. He looked exactly like his dad, sans the scars and scruffy beard - facial features absolutely uncanny otherwise. Big blue eyes wide, "H-hey," then a yelp when that boot comes his way, pulse racing as the young boy half floated, half leapt out of the way. Getting clipped on the shoulder to tumble to the ground, hands and knees scraped trying to catch himself.

"Oww!" Shrill with pained complaint, "You-you, big horse's ass!" Asahiko sputtered, immediately going for one of the many many insults he'd heard from the Red Haired Pirates. "Where's dad, why do you look like dad?" Sputtering with tears burning in his eyes.

Caesar was forced to the center again, this time into a more compact form that he could not fight against even as he fought to regain control of his body. Swearing, he watched as Lazarus' face would enter his view then leave it again as his head contorted around his center. For a fleeting moment, he wondered about the sort of mess he'd make if he lack the Devil Fruit powers that'd been bestowed upon him, gore splattering the walls and floors of the lab, leaving Big Mom's plans of gigantification nothing more than a failed experiment. It was impossible, but to think of the punishment Lazarus would receive for doing such a thing almost had him drooling.

He was pulled from his thoughts as he was forced into a smaller ball, desperately trying to squirm against the gravity that had him trapped. Caesar couldn't make out his surroundings anymore through his own gaseous body, blurring the world around him, making him unable to see his position relative to the man that was puppeteering his body.

He gasped loudly when he was released, moving across the room away from Lazarus, yellow gaze boring into Lazarus like he'd begin to burn if Caesar stared for too long. Still, even as he was pressed up against the wall, shaking just slightly, he was able to laugh.

❝ Sh-shurororo, what do you have performance anxiety now? I'll be sure to tell yo-your little boyfriend about that...! ❞

For all the years he had spent tempered and docile, far removed now from the rage that had fueled his younger self, Caesar certainly stoked those old embers back to life. To the point he relished in the day he might be given the chance to tear the loathsome scientists limb from limb in the most painful way possible. Really the clown is lucky that he couldnt be harmed physically without the use of Haki or sea-prism stone in hand. The former Lazarus was not quite adept in yet and the latter he didnt have access to.

He watches as Caesar retreats to the far wall and takes the tiny bit of enjoyment for such, though no such emotion reveals itself on his face. "I've grown bored already," he replies blandly, "where's the fun if I cannot use your blood to paint the walls and floor in abstract designs?" Lazarus doesnt even look back at Caesar from that point on, making his way to exit the laboratory. "Somehow, I am not concerned about anything you say about me."

Anything, turned out to be exactly what he assumed, as it was. His sanguine eyes narrow slightly at the shorter man, "If you're only going to focus on that line of thought, this conversation is going to end very quickly." Lazarus warns flatly, thinking back to Yulyana's tendency to blather about similar things. Just regarding women rather than men.

Lazarus is not built for the heat or the sun, not after having been born and raised in the highlands of Eternia where it had snowed mostly all year round. He never tanned and suffered burns if he didnt wear some kind of protection; so needless to say, the oppressive summer heat was killing him. The poor man looked miserably uncomfortable with his clothes sticking to his sweat-slick skin, even if he had an umbrella overhead to prevent himself from getting sunburnt. The artist gives Perospero a grimace, "Unbearably hot," he responds flatly, "the sea itself might be boiling, even." Which it did, apparently, in some places around Totto Land.

"I hate it," he declares bluntly, "I would sell whatever is left of my soul for a proper winter, or to have Yulyana here with his Elementals." Apparently the heat makes him chatty enough to complain, which is definitely not the normal. "Come inside before you melt into liquid candy, Perospero," Lazarus adds, "have something cold to drink."

It's a piercing headache that drags Lazarus out of exhausted sleep, feeling like an ice-pick is being driven through his skull. Nerves tingling painfully he rubs at his eyes and forehead trying to abate the ache, and the grogginess that comes from waking up. It's more than just a fierce headache, it's like a dense fog has filled his mindspace and stifled his thoughts. He is aware of being in a bed and under a warm duvet, which is comfortable and has a certain sweetness to the sheets and blankets. But was it his bed? Surely it had to be, where else could he be?

The brainfog seems to worsen, as does the headache. He groans and sits up slowly, shoulders slouched and head resting in both of his palms. What happened? The throbbing behind his eyes was fading but he couldnt remember anything. A slight chill against his skin - he was shirtless - but he didnt seem injured at all. Just confused and unable to grasp at anything familiar.

So it is very surprising to discover he isnt alone in bed - just catching the silhouette of another person startles him into movement. Shuffling to the far end of his side of the mattress, which is rather massive, so maybe this wasnt his bed after all? His head swims woozily in the attempt to think swiftly, when there was nothing to put together and that unsettled him immensely. "What's going on?" His expression, typically docile, is tense with stress and uncertainty.

Lazarus' hips against Perospero's own sent electricity sparking throughout his entire body, fingers just slightly tangling into the bedsheets. Arousal had already been coursing through his body when he'd entered the study and sat himself down in Lazarus' lap. There was a small twinge of embarrassment in his own actions, how he was so needy for his partner and how long he'd let himself go on feeling that way without saying a word. Perospero was never good at being direct with his partner, not wanting to overwhelm him with his needs. He was learning that Lazarus' was quite capable, even if it was the first time control had been given to him.

Another inhale at the nails against his nipples, and a rise in his torso trying to chase the almost painful tingle that spread from his skin to his eyes, the world around him blurring for just a moment. The touches on his hips and thighs, make him swear, hips bucking upwards into the air as if he'd find friction there. His cock sat between his legs, stiff and untouched, eliciting a small noise just from the movement of his own hips

The way Perospero arches up, trembling, into his wandering hands makes it very difficult not to deviate from his intended plans for the evening. Every twitch and gasp is carefully filed away for future reference - though it's evident his lover struggles to remain still when he finally does get to those first few brush strokes. Lazarus focuses on the shape he's trying to form and presses his free hand down over Perospero's solar-plexus, not applying much strength but the idea is there - a reminder not to move too much.

The linework in blue isnt continuous, it is drawn in pieces in what looked to be a circular formation. A steady pattern of the semi-ticklish soft bristles across skin being lifted away for a second before touching down again. Lazarus pulls away at his partner's plead to be touched more, trying to seem non pulsed but feeling thrilled just from the sound of Peros' voice. "I've barely started," he replies mildly, swapping his paintbrush for one dipped in red.

"You're so impatient," the artist chides playfully, but he doesnt deny what his lover requests. His unoccupied hand slides down over Perospero's flat stomach and drifts to his right hip, where he drags a firm caress over a protruding bone - then down to the inner thigh, sharp nails grazing sensitive skin. "How can I create something beautiful for you if you're going to squirm and disrupt my work?" There's the cool swipe of the paintbrush following in emphasis, halting his teasing to get a few more lines made.

"I have a feeling you wont even let me get half way," Lazarus was having fun tormenting his partner like this, a little payback for all the times Perospero made him whine and plead - as close as he could get to the latter anyway. Having purposefully ignored where Peros wanted to be touched most this whole time, he finally does wrap his free hand around the candyman's cock again - giving him a few indulgent strokes. "Can you keep still while I touch you, sweetheart?"

Caesar yelped, pulled to the center of the sphere, gaseous body contorting and compressing until he was formed into a ball shape, unable to break free of the control Lazarus had over him. Panic was his initial response, taking a moment to realize that he wasn't in pain nor would be he crushed by the sphere's black hole-like center. Instead, his body would shrink, be forced to merely float around the center without the crushing affect it'd likely have if his devil fruit was not a logia type. The lack of control was still distressing however as Caesar was forced to twist and turn against his will.

❝ Shurororo~ If this...is your idea of torment, ❞ he struggled against the gravity, trying to look at Lazarus head on without his head being forced to fold into his body, ❝ Then you'll have to do a lot better. ❞

❝ I've personally put people in much more painful positions. And I'm sure you have too, if this pathetic attack is anything to go by, ❞ For just a moment, he was able to free himself from the ball shape he'd been forced into. Hands reach out to touch the surface of the sphere, forehead pressing between his them, a devious smile spreading across his features, ❝ If you really want to make me scream, actually make an effort~ ❞

Lazarus hadn't the chance before to really test the limits of his ability on someone rendered unharmed by it. Solid material and flesh were crushed so effortlessly with merely a whim and flex of his hand, but Caesar was made of gas and he just watched as the clown is squished down into the size of a softball. His expression is somewhere between indifferent and attentive, flexing the sphere to shrink the scientist down smaller. He had to concentrate to avoid damaging the laboratory around them, he wasnt about to be that reckless.

"I have a distinct feeling you'd enjoy me hurting you," is the artist's toneless response, flexing his control over the sphere to force Caesar back into the tennis-ball sized space again. Purple sparks flit off his shoulders the longer he maintains the power, as typically he only utilized it for a few moments at a time. "You arent worth the effort, honestly." Lazarus dismisses Caesar disdainfully, though he continues to keep the other trapped.

"I do wonder if you'd survive the void of space, if your logia powers could sustain you there? Maybe one day I will throw you into the vacuum and watch." He muses aloud, crushing the clown down even smaller, a golf-ball now. But then he releases the sphere, having neared his limit for concentration.

Though hardly winded or even tired, there was a headache starting to throb behind his eyes. "Hm," and Lazarus turns away with that pensive sound, as if to leave.

Another sob wracked Cupid's body at Silver's words, a chill following the half-mink's fingers as they traveled down Cupid's spine. An unintentional tremble shook their frame, head burying into Silver's shoulder at the intensity of the touch. They were so sensitive, to touch, to words, to the mere presence of Silver in their arms. Silver's body against their own made their heart throb in their chest. Though unlike their romps together it felt more and more as if their heart was going to break away from their chest and leap into the ocean. It was so painful to feel so much.

Attention was on the tail that whips behind them, a clear sign that something had bubbled up underneath Silver's skin and Cupid could not fathom what it could be. Perhaps anxiety, or perhaps Silver was growing tired of Cupid and was only entertaining them at the moment only to leave once they had fallen asleep.

Listening to Cupid confess to worrying that they'd hate them or be uncomfortable was difficult, because the latter was certainly true. Silver could handle casual flings and platonic relationships easily, they had an extensive network of connections of all kinds. But romance? It made them uneasy. The half-mink couldnt put it into exact words right then and they arent going to try either. The situation was too fragile to say such things without much consideration beforehand. "I dont and wont hate for you for it, I'm just processing." They reassure, a tremble at the end of their sentence.

"Nah, what ifs arent going to help us here. Don't go down that road of talking about if you'd kept things bottled up. You didnt, and now we have to work this out together." Really they are trying to be pragmatic about it, while struggling with the instincts to run away and panic. A few deep breaths are drawn in as Silver tips forward a bit to press their forehead to Cupid's shoulder.

Several heartbeats of silence follow before they sigh, "Im sorry if I havent said the things you wanted to hear, I dont want to lie to you about how I feel about it." The faint vibration of their voice can be felt against the other's form, "Which, I dont know how or what to feel, I just kind of want to crawl into bed with you for the night.." Squeezing Cupid gently in the embrace, "Is that ok?"
