OK. So this isn’t the completely finished design because these are “old” drawings of her I made (oh my gosh. The passage of time) a year or three ago, but pretty much from the start I’ve given her huge puffy 80s hair

None of these drawings have her bottom half with the design I like the most, I was mainly trying to figure that bit out for a while.

YES the colors don’t really match her in-game sprite. I don’t really care. I like these more :]

Probably not the final colors because I’m never finished with anything ever and I’ll keep tweaking them forever but for now I really like the colors on the top drawing (the one with the math)

Main inspirations for her design is Jadis wearing her war outfit with Aslan’s mane, the flannel moth and the red-backed shrike (the bird that impales its prey.)

OH what if I make her even more like Jadis?? Ok sorry I gotta mess around with her design some more

What Scientology actually is is irrelevant. Lots of people talk about them in the same breath as actual minority religions whose practices they find weird, and if they don't see any difference between Scientology and those other organizations then there's nothing stopping them from going after the other ones.

Dream

My boss KR was assigning familiars to people in my ward and the geology program. We were all holding hands in a circle, and she was in the middle as she assigned us our familiars. She skipped me.

We moved up an inclined hallway into a different room (the whole place looked like a mix of the MARB and the hallways near my high school band room) and as everyone split off into little groups to chat, I told my boss that she skipped me and didn’t assign me a familiar. She then told me my familiar was a giant fish that looked like a koi fish but wasn’t one, and that it lived in the North Sea and was carnivorous.

I suddenly was on a small walkway over the North Sea, with waves breaking and sea mist everywhere. My fish showed up and kept switching between being a giant red and white koi fish and being grey. I realized that my fish was secretly evil, and as the walkway shuddered so badly I thought I’d fall into the ocean, I looked up to see the others playing with their familiars. They were inside and warm, while I was out in the cold ocean. Having an evil fish wasn’t too bad, though. I could make it work. The fish was currently evil, but that could change.

Carried 4 (four) gigantic maps home and it wasn’t even a very long walk (~20 min at most) but my arms were SHAKING by the time I got home

Ok literally as I was typing this out the map fell down. The little hooks I used weren’t strong enough so I went and found a nail

Hopefully the nail won’t pull out of the wall (it shouldn’t, I put it in at an angle but you never know) and with the new space between the top of the map and the ceiling I could put the tiny Jesus picture on as well.

Originally the Jesus picture was the only thing on the wall which was in turns sorta depressing and also super funny.

Anyways! Hammer both for scale and to keep the map from rolling back up. Not very stable but I don’t have any better ideas at the moment. I might try and find some weights to tie to the ends of the bottom rod but I’ll have to get pretty creative for that. So long as there’s not another earthquake the hammer should be fine. Just don’t sit on the couch, maybe.

The roof at my apartment was leaking really badly, so I set up a tent in the grassy triangle behind/in front of the Maeser. Tweenage Boba Fett was there and staying in the tent with me. I tried to fall asleep in the tent, but it was raining so hard and loud I couldn't.

When the rain stopped, my cousin Al came up the hill and asked me to help him out. There were people hanging out in his backyard, and they had overstayed their welcome. I got out to help him, and we walked up a hill with identical houses on one side of the road and nothing on the other. All the houses were colored blue and black and were very modern/cubist sorta vibes. The second to last house on the hill was his, and as we walked into the backyard it transitioned to a mountain dirt road.

There was a fallen tree blocking the path, and as I stepped over it I got covered in small offwhite grasshoppers. I got the ones on my arms off, but I could feel them crawling up my pants.

I woke up briefly before falling back asleep and having a second dream

Betty Boop was Hispanic and dealing with a lot of copy-cats trying to claim her fame. She was able to get rid of most of the copy-cats because they were white, but there were two other clones or copy-cats that she couldn't figure out a way to deal with. She did a song and dance before getting her arms trapped in a haybale. A french lady in a weird pink/holographic tulle flight attendant outfit came out and starting talking to Betty Boop but she was so stereotypically french it was almost offensive. I couldn't understand a word she said and neither could Betty Boop, the french lady kept repeating the same vowel sounds over and over again.

One of my neighbors called me out to the balcony/walkway where she showed me a flier for a party she was going to for nurses. Two of the bells you hit for the memory bell puzzles in silksong were on the flier.

watching a documentary on the formation of Earth and all of a sudden there was some REALLY dramatic background music. It didn't seem too out of place (considering the dramatic origins of Earth) but it was just loud enough to make it really difficult to hear the narration. As soon as the singing started I recognized where the music was coming from and quickly went to pause the Bloodborne OST video
