of course only rose would have the shit luck of getting the email notification as she was already walking into her class building: “ class cancelled, do the readings yourself ” type bullshit. still, she had made it all this way, and she figured she could at least get some work done given the classroom would be empty. but, once again to her luck, there was one other person in the class. she made it a point to sit down right next to them in the completely empty classroom, and allowed them to linger in the silence for a moment before speaking up.

“ did you miss the email, too?  prof has strep — there’s no class today. ”

rose turned to look up at the girl as she felt a tapping on her shoulder. she usually found herself conversing with strangers — the pink hair will do that to you — so this was nothing out of the ordinary for her. she couldn’t help but a let a humorous smile creep onto her face as she took in the girl in front of her. the booze, the outfit, the request — all very up rose’s alley. “ yeah, no problem. one condition though: you gotta share the weed. ” she offered with a smile as she got up, making her way outside to greet the dealer. 

“ so, let’s talk about hugging — yeah ?  what do you think of that ?  ” she begun, flashing a goofy smile towards the girl.
